I wanted to love this moisturize. The good thing is that it was not irritating on my sensitive skin. But, it feels sticky, which I don't care for. Probably won't buy again.

Relief from winter skin scales

Desert Essence Have the Best Products!
I just started using this skin ointment, but it's amazing so far. I use it for hives, heat rashes, and bug bites. It smells great and it helps me a lot. I will be buying more of this product. The only bad thing about this product is that I want a larger size, because this runs out so quickly. I use it practically every day.

This is the BEST!

Not as good as others
Wanted a crème but this is not a lotion/cream - it is more like a balm. Vitamin Shoppe should change their advertisement: "1 fluid ounce of cream" to read "1 fluid (compressed) balm-like substance that you have to skate over with your finger to get anything to apply.

on a positive note - the smell is fantastic!

Love This Stuff
I bought this based on the review that said it helped remove the sting of bug bites. It does that, and more. I had a bug bite on my foot near a funky looking nail and was surprised to see that the nail is almost normal after only a few days. I'm using it on all my nails now, and they're looking 100% better. Oh, and the bug bites healed up very quickly. I think I'll find all sorts of uses for it.

Great Product
I used this product on mosquito bites, for pain relief, and for itchy scalp relief, and it has served it's purpose. Three of my children are allergic to mosquitoes, and when they were freshly bitten, I applied a small amount to the bite, and it relieved the itching and the swelling. It was like they were never bitten. I also used it on my painful wrist, and it provided great relief. Finally, on of my sons tend to have frequent itchy scalp, and since I have been using this product on his scalp, the itching has been minimized.

Tea Tree Oil Skin Ointment
This ointment is phenominal for dry skin. I rub it all over my face before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning my face looks like it's glowing. I use it on my hand also but only if I sit and do nothing for a least 1/2 hour b/c it is greasy but it absorbs quickly with no greasy residue! It's great on lips too but Dessert Essence has a lip balm. Also great on feet. There are no "aren't so great" things I know of.

manufacturer. Tea tree oil is the third ingredient on the label.
It is a good question that I did not think of.

Best Answer:  I use it on my face all the time, sparingly but it's never been a problem. Great on blemishes. However, don't put it too close to the eyes as it can irritate.
