Effective for Multiple Uses
I mix a few drops of frankincense oil with coconut oil (as a carrier), and massage into my achy knee joint. I noticed improvement after just a few applications. I also use it for skin issues, like dry, cracked areas, as a facial moisturizer/wrinkle reducer, and maybe the most pleasant surprise was as a sleep aid. I rub a bit under my nose right before bedtime, and I've been consistently getting 7-8 hours of sleep. That hasn't happened in years!

Finding the way to health
For people already taking medications for multiple health issues and facing issues and problems with immunity, essential oils are great. This stuff works for me. I feel better and I am living a better life, being able to use essential oils as an aid to better health. Decent quality, worth the 31 dollars and change. It doesn't seem as strong as some other, more expensive brands, not sure why...But it is decent enough and I love the smell and price. Will buy again

Great Oil!
I decide to try this oil out because the price was good for a FULL OUNCE. I use a few drops in my face cream daily. Sometime I diffuse it or put a few drops in the bath. Wonderful oil!

Frankincense Essential Oil
I use this everyday and love the Vitamin Shoppe brand. It is 100% essential oil and has so many great benefits. It is beneficial for stress and anxiety, boosts your immune system, has anti-cancer properties and so much more. I especially like the Vitamin Shoppe brand because the scent is lovely and you get more bang for your buck. I would highly recommend this product.

So far not sure ... The bottle does not explain
Does not explain how to use- neither did rep at store . A little disappointed of how the employee didn't have much experience. She helped me as much as she could, but still have questions. Just bought it and may be looking for a better option. Does anybody have experience with these oils? And if so can someone explain how to use topically if able? Can I mix with lotions or just spray, or diffuse ... I know it's just external use

I would definitely check out this oil
Triple blind tested. Essential pure oil. Be careful not to fooled on the essential oils. They are sometimes CUT with other oils. The VS oils are great

Best Answer:  The product may have been steam distilled in the USA , and packaged here, but the resin is sourced from North Africa usually. 82% of the world's Frankincense resin (olibanum) comes from Somalia. It has been known to come from Southern Arabia, Ethiopia,etc. The varieties are Boswellia sacra, carteri frereana . and serrata.....the Serrata being known as Indian Frankincense, so perhaps that particular one is sourced out of India, but I'm not positive on that. One of those first 3 types was given to the baby Jeebus by the Three Wiseman,as well as Myrrh and it is mentioned in other places throughout the Bible. It's quite amusing to think of Frankincense growing wild in the USA. I have a hunch that it isn't being farmed, nor cultivated in greenhouses,( a la "hothouse frankincense") here, either....not even in the Bible Belt. Okay, I had to go there.....sorry.

Unless I am missing something. You do not detail which type of Frankincense this is, which is very important. Is the Sacra or Carteli??

Best Answer:  My bottle does not show either of those words---it states Boswella serrata ( Frankincense) Essential oil.

Best Answer:  Frankincense essential oil can be applied neat (w/o carrier oil), so I'm assuming it can be applied to the face, however, I wouldn't get it close to the eyes. Usually frankincense is used topically at reflex points and/or directly on area of concern. I personally haven't used it on my face.

Best Answer:  Yes! It’s a natural healing agent and it does not sting. You can dilute it with jojoba oil, almond oil, or vitamin E before applying it! I use it in conjunction with my face lotion!
