Comments about the Vitamin Shoppe L-Glutamine 500 MG - 100 Capsules:

Since starting this i've noticed a great amount of recovery (especially when taken around your workouts). The price is exactly on point and it's tasteless as opposed to some out there that taste awful. This is a must have in any fitness enthusiast's supplement stack.

Can you please tell me what is the source of your glutamine? Since your label says it doesn't contain corn, I know it's not corn.

        Thanks.
A Vitamin Shoppe customer on May 10, 2014
        Best Answer: Hi,

L-Glutamine as a free form amino acid comes out by isolation from animal food and dairy which are the richests sources of this amino acid.

If I already put amino acids in my protein shakes after workouts can I take this too?
A Vitamin Shoppe customer on Jan 3, 2015
Best Answer: It is to my knowledge that it would not be harmful. The body cannot get enough amino acids, there are many different situations that everyone faces in their daily lives, that need as much nutrition as possible. The brain needs to be supplied with amino acids for it and the neurotransmitters to function properly. Everyone also has different deficiencies that need some amino acids more than others.
