Not for me!
I purchased this since my doctor recommended aloe juice to heal my gut. I was a little weary of the polysaccharides in it, since prebiotics generally do not agree with me. I gave it a try anyways, since all of the options at my local Vitamin Shoppe contained it. That was a mistake! This product caused me a great deal of gastrointestinal discomfort, and did much more harm than good. If you have any sort of sensitivity to prebiotics, stay away!!!

Aloe Vera Juice or Aloe Vera whole leaf
I discontinued GERD medication due to side effects. I started taking Aloe Vera Juice (or whole leaf juice), 1 -2 tablespoons in the am and pm. My symptoms of GERD have subsided about 80% and I have not experienced any side effects.

LOVE IT!!!
I love this aloe vera juice! It doesn't have that nasty taste and it makes my stomach feel smooth and coated. I also use it in my skin care products and a homemade moisturizing eye formula. Thanks and blessings!!!

I was just told that I should start drinking 2 ounces everyday to help with my digestion issues. Most importantly, how does this taste? be honest.

Best Answer:  I would start with 1 tablespoon prior to meals unless your doctor told you otherwise. One tablespoon is 1 ounce. On the bottle it says that you can drink up to 8 ounces a day. I never got to that point. It sometimes can cause loose stools. To make sure you are not taking to much, I would start with a tablespoon at a time. It has helped me tremondously with my acid reflux.
I personally do not like the taste. I recently started with the pill form. I hope this helps.
