It has a pungent bitter taste so at times if I'm not drinking it straight I'll mix it with a little Tropicana orange juice

Excellent for Crohns
This Aloe juice is of great quality and is very effective in helping with the symptoms of crohns.I take 1/2 cup twice daily. It actually took away a dull ache I had for months after 4 days of use. The ache was possibly a stricture which is common with Crohns. Some people mix with apple juice to make it more palatable. Aside from the taste I have found an effective product for Crohns treatment.

Great for Inflamation
I started drinking Aloe Vera because I have Acid Reflux,I was taking a presciption medication, but It was having little effect. Since I started drinking it, my Acid Reflux has improved greatly. I mix it with Pomegranate juice. Its a great anti-inflamatory.

Can't get past the taste!
This juice may be good for you but it tastes like liquid plastic! How is anyone drinking this? What are you mixing it with? I have used orange juice, cranberry juice and POM juice. Nothing makes this drinkable. Do I have a bad gallon?? I really would like to heard from others about this.

Excellent product
We bought this product to prevent heartburn and surprisingly..it worked. Its always better to use a natural extract as a substitute for those medicines available on the shelf. We're very much satisfied by the results.

Which is more beneficial, whole leaf-or inner fillet Aloe Vera Juice?
Dear Lois,I had the same question when I discovered that both types were available. I did some research on the Internet and concluded that the whole leaf juice appeared to contain a more complete array of the nutrients that make aloe vera juice so beneficial. I have been drinking aloe vera juice daily for many years. While some people mix it with another juice to mask the flavor, I rather like the way it tastes, and I do not notice much difference between the whole leaf product and the inner leaf product. when it comes to taste. I claim no special expertise in this matter, but this is my informed opinion. You might want to order a jug of each and see if you have a preference -- this is what I did in the beginning because I was curious if there was a taste difference. I now order the whole leaf product exclusively, but would drink the inner leaf version if it was all that was available to me..Good Luck,Alice
I have always preferred the whole leaf and find that its easier to get down
I researched this a couple of years ago and what I found differs from the "best answer" in this string. The contention that there was no nutritional value in the leaf and you were paying for the skin or peel of the plant, much like a banana peel or the outside of a pineapple. Because of the differing opinions, you may want to do some indept research yourself and post the results here. (I had previously bought the whole lead product thinking it was better.)
IS THERE ANY DIFFERENCE IN INGRIENTS BETWEEN INNER LEAF OR WHOLE LEAF WHICH BETTER FOR YOU I HAVE HEART BURN GERD dr , calls it told take after meal 2x day.
I sent an email to the shoppe, on live chat, they said there was not ANY difference-guess it is just a marketing thing.

While I don't believe that any Sort of Heat or Agent is used in the Pressing because they are Certified Organic, as well as Kosher. Neither the label nor the web site address this particular question, but there is a Contact Us form at brand name dot com. I have had good results with this brand and buy it frequently.

Nothing on the label indicates the Whole Leaf Filtered version is cold pressed.
