Does this product help relieve chronic muscular pain and stiffness in the neck and legs?
    Emilio D on Jul 14, 2014
Best Answer: I bought this product once to add to my joint formula that didn't contain Boswellia because I know it has given me great relief. However, I now use a joint product that contains this as well as Glucosamine Sulfate,Bromelain,Hyaluronic Acid and Tumeric.

    Hope this is helpful. ID

    What is Boswellia used for?
    Faina T on Jan 29, 2013
Best Answer: Studies have shown that boswellic acids have an anti-inflammatory action—much like the conventional nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) used for inflammatory conditions. Boswellia inhibits pro-inflammatory mediators in the body, such as leukotrienes. As opposed to NSAIDs, long-term use of boswellia does not appear to cause irritation or ulceration of the stomach. One small, controlled, double-blind trial has shown that boswellia extract may be helpful for ulcerative colitis.
