I chose this because I have acne and I read that this along with distilled water is a great way to freshen your skin throughout the day and it has acid in it to help with pimples

How do I dispense the oil from the bottle? There is a circular plastic part firmly seated on the inside of the top of the bottle: do I remove it? If not, how do I measure out drops of the oil? Many thanks.

what does this oil do for you?
      car d on Aug 29, 2013
Best Answer: I use the peppermint oil to refresh the senses instead of caffeine; I use it with olive oil in making sugar scrubs, and mix it in melted chocolate i.e. peppermint brownies; A few drops in a cup of hot water eases digestion, also.

      Is this therapeutic grade oil?
A Vitamin Shoppe customer on May 12, 2014
Best Answer: I don't think that it matters whether or not it is of therapeutic grade. When I received the product and read the label it stated that it was not to be consumed. I called customer service to make sure I was interpreting it correctly and she said that it could be added to candle wax to make it fragrant. It was not to be consumed.

Can it be used on hair?
      LaQuita H on Feb 24, 2014
Best Answer: Yes, but you will need to mix it with a carrier oil such as jojoba oil. It's too strong to apply directly.

      what does this oil do?
      car d on Aug 29, 2013
Best Answer: My friend said that Dr. Oz recommended it to stop a headache and since I get frequent headaches, I thought I'd try it. I apply it with a q-tip to the area where I have pain and it really DOES work after a while. I hope it will help you too.

I purchased this oil assuming it was safe to eat/drink/and apply to skin. However when I received the bottle it states "not for internal use."
I know that I should not eat/drink this oil, but is this considered safe to apply to my skin? Or is this oil simply for aroma therapy?
