Comments about Reserveage Organics Grass Fed Whey Protein - 12.7 Ounces Powder:

I blend a scoop with 1 medium frozen banana, 1 tsp of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 tsp of peanut or cashew butter and 1 cup of almond milk. Pretty tasty for the most part.

    Great flavor

    By Pete

Comments about Reserveage Organics Grass Fed Whey Protein - 12.7 Ounces Powder:

I've been drinking protein powders for 15 years and this very well be the best tasting- have it in chocolate.... The creamy texture, along with its flavor and the source its derived from make a great combination at an affordable price. It's 21 grams per scoop of protein. At one scoop or a scoop and half in about 8-10 oz of water it just flat out tastes great on its own w/o anything else added.
NOTE: to maximize flavor and consistency I feel u MUST chill water with ice for a couple of minutes and then blend it blender or like me, in the nutri bullet for literally 3 seconds. I leave 2 ice cubes in it for extra chill because it can get a bit warm fast from its creamy texture. But it's not too creamy at all. It's really just right. Try it this way- I don't think you'll be unhappy

Comments about Reserveage Organics Grass Fed Whey Protein - 12.7 Ounces Powder:

I make this as a breakfast shake for the family every morning. I add organic chocolate almond milk, organic peanut butter, organic banana and ice. Blend it frappe style in the blender and everyone loves it. Out of all the protein powders we have tried the whole family likes the taste of this one the best.

Does "Grass-fed" mean 100% "Grass-fed," as in all the time? What do the animals eat in the winter when there is snow on the ground? I believe the USDA states that Grass Fed means that the animals need to only eat grass 100% of the time. This sounds like a misleading claim to me as it's very unlikely the animal is solely feeding off of grass.
A Vitamin Shoppe customer on Oct 30, 2014
Best Answer: I don't think the Grass-fed label is regulated by the USDA.

Most of the Grass-Fed herders who live in temperate regions I know feed their cattle with hay during the winter. There are also herders who can feed their cattle year round because they live where there really is no winter. Some herders use the label it as Grass-Finished (truly 100% grass-fed) to distinguish themselves from some Grass-Fed herders who supplement their feed with some grain. Again, this term is also not regulated.

You really have to get to know the farmer to find out.

why does this stay keep out of reach of children? can they not drink this?
    jen l on Sep 19, 2013
Best Answer: Supplements are required by the government to put warnings like that among others such as "no approved claims."

I don't think there's anything wrong with children drinking this, provided of course a you give them a sensible amount. (Obviously you wouldn't let them down an entire package in one sitting).

Children also have different nutritive requirements from adults, so you might need to adjust accordingly, like try half of what is recommended in the label to check and see.

    Is it cold processes?
A Vitamin Shoppe customer on Jun 14, 2014
Best Answer: Though not specifically stated as cold processed, I think it is because they do say it is undenatured. I can't imagine a way to process it with heat while still keeping it undenatured, because heat would denature proteins. If you really want to be sure, I think it's best to contact the manufacturer directly. Their website has contact info.

In the ingredients it lists "Natural Flavors", What exactly are the "Natural Flavors"?
A Vitamin Shoppe customer on Mar 3, 2014
Best Answer: I wish I knew myself. This product does not work for me so I stopped purchasing it. No one w/lactose intolerance issue should go near this item. Furthermore the natural flavors is essentially a camouflage for perhaps a toxic carcinogen. It can virtually be anything - a preservative, an additive, msg, an artificial ingredient...anytime you see natural flavors on an item be wary. It's a convenient way for companies to hide what they do not want consumers to see.
