L-Arginine and L-Citrulline are two amino acids bundled into a single powerful supplement. L-Arginine is an important factor in muscle metabolism and is a precursor for nitric oxide, which promotes increased circulation by relaxing blood vessels. L-Citrulline helps the body rid itself of ammonia, a by-product of exercise. This clearing enables the body to recover after a workout.

Comments about Source Naturals L-Arginine L-Citrulline Complex - 120 Tablets:

I buy this product for my 90 year old mother to help with her memory problems in addition to these two amino acids improving the flow of blood in her veins. I've done a lot of research in the holistic field, and have found this product, which has the combination of the two amino acids, to be the best on the market. She takes it 4 times a day, and the biggest added bonus of her taking it is that it naturally lowers her blood pressure, allowing the doctor to stop prescribing high blood pressure pills. All in all, it is a great supplement, but please do your own research first to see if it would be advantageous for your own physical situation. Good Luck!

Comments about Source Naturals L-Arginine L-Citrulline Complex - 120 Tablets:

Been taking the product for awhile so I'm used to what it does. But, it does work. Two fold product: a. helps to circulate blood flow better so more oxygen gets through the blood stream b. helps recover from a workout faster. Indirect side effect is increased sexual satisfaction but you must workout. This is not a magic pill but it does help. Take as directed. I would take a week off from them after bout a month, just to give your body a rest. Add LongJax when needed and its a party!

          dosage of the L-arginine L-citrulline?
A Vitamin Shoppe customer on Aug 14, 2014
Best Answer: According to the label (and the Supplement Facts tab on the product page), each tablet has 750 mg of L-Arginine and 250 mg of L-Citrulline. I try to take 1 tablet four times a day, as recommended on the label (and here on the Product Info tab). I don't always remember tablets 2 and 3, but I manage to at least get numbers 1 and 4 in, since that's when I take most of my other supplements and medications.

is this the best product in the family of Nitric Ozide?
A Vitamin Shoppe customer on Mar 16, 2014
          Best Answer: Hi there,
I think this is a very suitable formula in the family since it combines l-arginine + L-citrulline. L-Argeinine alone is scarcely absorbed in the digestive trackt, but the citrulline combination enhances it. As a matter of fact, citrulline inhibits an enzime which neutralises arginine in the stomach, hence it is fully absorbed. You will feel it during workout. You'll get an evident muscle congestion which will last long after workout.
