Comments about Source Naturals Progesterone Cream - 2 Ounces Cream:

A friend recommended this cream to me to help with hot flashes & PMS. It made my PMS worse, and even after my cycle started, I developed depression...crying, sadness, irritability. I also developed cold/flu-like symptoms and rapid heartbeat. I was disappointed that these side-effects occurred, since my friend is benefitting so much from it. I guess it will just affect certain people in a negative way. I can't say the product is bad, but it just didn't work for me.

Comments about Source Naturals Progesterone Cream - 2 Ounces Cream:

I've used several brands of progesterone cream and this is my favorite. The quality of the product is superb and the price is excellent. I buy the 2 oz. jars because they are the best value I've found. This cream has regulated my cycle, has virtually done away with my PMS symptoms, and has balanced my overall mood. I use it twice a day for 14 days before the start of my cycle.

Rubye J. L asked: I battle with Roseacea and take BP meds, antibiotics, and low thyroid meds. Is it safe to use this cream? Jun 27, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Elaine K: Wow Rubye--you do have a lot on your plate! I think only your pharmacist or doctor could really answer this question for you since he/she knows more about the interactions between the meds. If BP means blood pressure, I don't think there's a problem, but if it means BiPolar, there could possibly be an issue...I'm not sure. Anyway, for my personal experience...I LOVE this cream. I am done w/ menopause, but still use it as it helps me maintain my strength, mood and body temperature at almost pre-menopause levels. My doctor disagrees with me, but I think it has even slowed the greying of my hair! lol. I take 1/2 tsp in the morning and 1/2 in the evening for 21 days, then I go off it for 7 days. I stopped it for about 6 months after I was done with menopause, but did not like how weak and old I felt, so I started it up again. I've been taking it now for about a year and a half (for a total of about 4 years) and don't plan to quit anytime soon. Good luck, kiddo. Jun 29, 2013

Wendy L: Progesterone cream is safe to take if you are low thyroid and on antibiotics, but remember to supplement some yogurt or probiotics when on antibiotics. The BP issue will need to be addressed with the doctor. I do not know the effect on Roseacea, but this stuff is fabulous on your skin! Jun 28, 2013

Ruby R: I've taken low thyroid meds for many years and have also used Progesterone Cream for many years. Don't know about Roseacea or taking BP meds - I'm not a doctor. Jun 28, 2013

Traci V asked: You state that this product is paraben free, yet it has proplyparaben in it. That is soooo wrong.....??? Jan 5, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Laurie R: Traci: Progesterine Cream is made from Yams which contain : Propylparaben, the n-propyl ester of p-hydroxybenzoic acid, occurs as a natural substance found in many plants and some insects, although it is manufactured synthetically for use in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and foods. It is a preservative typically found in many water-based cosmetics, such as creams, lotions, shampoos and bath products.
The two words Paraben and Proplyparaben are like comparing apples and oranges. One is not natural and one is found in Nature. You can eat more Yams and Sweet potatoes in your diet and/or use the cream in an unobtrusive area because the Yams in it can leave an orange/yellow tint to the skin.
