We have used this soap for 6 months and love it. We primarily use fragrance free / dye free chemical free body care products of pure quality due to skin sensitivities. This product far surpasses anything we've experienced to date - and we are in our 60's and practice healthy living. We use this soap in the showers, tubs and bathrooms sinks for all over use. The natural fragrance is very pleasing, the soap lathers easily. I enjoy the exfoliating qualities this soap offers. It is like giving your entire body a gentle facial daily. I had dry skin during the winter months, especially on my legs. Also, I had a rash occasionally on both forearms. With the use of this soap, my rashes went away and I no longer deal with dry skin. I have talked to other people who use it for oily skin and it seems they also have a favorable experience and love this soap. We use this product exclusively and highly recommend it.

I have been using African Black Soap for three weeks, and I am pleasantly surprised at the results. I have had eczema for 32 years if not longer. It used to be a seasonal condition, but as I got older I have suffered all year round. Dove for sensitive skin has been my soap of choice until now.

After reading the reviews on this site, I purchased a soap dish and placed in my shower above the shower stream. This dish has openings at the bottom which allows water to drain out and keeps my soap dry so I'm not using a bar a week.

Now on to the product, the soap has a pleasant smell. It gave me a squeaky clean feeling that I've only experienced on my face before. I use my soap on my face and body. After two days, I noticed that I wasn't as itchy as I was before. After a week, my old wounds were healed. I do more scratching when I am asleep, and I have had no new wounds in three weeks. My neck and chest are clear and my old scars are starting to fade. My skin had been discolored because of continued use of prescription eczema medications. I've only had to use my medication two or three times and that was on my hands. I've been oiling my skin with jojoba oil as soon as I get out of the shower to prevent dryness.

Nubian Heritage has got a customer for life, and I have given away a bar so a friend can test this fir herself. When you've had a condition for as long as I have, you don't expect miracles, but this product has been a miracle for me. I can exercise now without scratching myself silly when I sweat. I am a happy and satisfied customer!

im not going to speak bad of this product because iam a person that believes different products work for different ppl...in my case, this soap was horrible for my face..while using it i began to have terrible breakouts..huge cystic bumps all over..i was surprised because ive used black soap back in 2011 and my face was sooo clear...however, i was never able to find the same brand...i assumed all black soaps were the same, but clearly they are not.

I bought 16 bars of this. I've used 4 bars in 4 weeks in my face and body as well. But then, I noticed that my skin reacted too differently compared to the effects that other users have said. I found my skin to be rough, dry, and getting darker. I stopped using it because my husband told me so. It might be a good bar but not effective to me.

Great smell and cleaning. Surprised to find I could use from head to toe. Ran out of shampoo and used the soap that worked, lathered and rinsed the same. This is now the only soap I use. Have ordered many times. Great product.

I've been using this bar for about 3 weeks to be exact. I am done with my 3rd bar. I am very much contented of using this bar in my face and body. Not bad for its price because I can use it for 7 days lavishly. I like the smell. My skin became clear and smooth in a way brighter and lighter. I've been using this product for more than 2 weeks now. I noticed that my skin became more clear and smooth. I use it as my face and body bar. This bar soap is really amazing. I felt so loved and dearly. For me, 1 bar lasts for 7 days. So I've decided to buy more, 16 pieces of this because I want to share it with my husband. I originally bought this soap to use on my face but I totally fell in love with the smell and I now use it on my whole body. It makes my skin feel sweeky clean. It's alittle costly to use on your whole body but if you want your face to feel totally clean, I recommend this product.

I guess I'm the only one but this soap didn't work amazingly for me. I actually think it's drying my skin out. I thought that it wouldn't but it definitely makes my face dry. I still use it because it does smell great and it is a natural soap and it does get me clean but I use it carefully on my body with warm water to prevent my skin from becoming too dry.

I have been using organic products on my face for several years. Recently have been having break outs, flakes etc. Read the reviews for this and tried it. In just a couple of weeks, my combo oily skin looks cleaner, clearer, and healthier. Beautiful fragrence, no drying and just great. Love this company.

After listening to reviews I decided to try this soap. I was looking for something to help my 3 daughters that have eczema so I gave this a shot. I am very pleased with this product! My daughter told me today she wants me to buy more. Their skin is so soft and smooth. I use it also all over. I love the smell and it cleans very well. Our complexion has even gotten lighter and it smoothed out some rough areas on my skin. Highly recommend this product. I also purchased the matching lotion.

In my opinion, this is the best soap for a person with exzema. It doesn't dry or tighten your skin, it has a pleasant scent, very relaxing and nourishing to the skin. it makes your face feel as if it's been wrapped in silk.

The only con to this soap is that it leaves a grey/black residue when wet. but a little extra rinsing and or cleaning is well worth the award of using this brand soap!highly recommended to those of all races

I love this soap because it's appropriate for both my hubby and myself. The scent is warm yet clean, and seems to take on a different tone from person-to-person. It can be used as a facial soap as well as body bar, without fear of drying out skin. I haven't experienced any magical turnarounds with my skin while using this, but I can tell that my husband's back is clearer. It's still a great all-around bar even without a miracle. The only downfall is that the residue it leaves in the tub is not only dull (like other soaps), but dark as well! Oh well- just stay on top of that tub scrubbing.

I'm in my forties and still have an occasional acne break out. I was looking for a soap that would clear and help prevent acne break outs. I love this soap and the smell is great too. It leaves my face feeling so soft and clean and it clears my skin.

I am 46 years old and have tried practically every facial cleanser out there and have yet to find the one that I could not do without, until now.... Nubian Heritage's African Black Soap Bar is beyond anything I had ever hoped for in a cleanser. It deep cleans, heals, soothes, and leaves my skin feeling soft, firm,and clean. I have combination/sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts. After having a pretty bad reaction to something that left my face a mess, I though I would give this soap a try. Within 3 days, my skin looked so much better and smoother. It has a wonderful creamy lather that does not sting irritated skin. And the smell of it is heavenly... I use it in the morning and at night. I follow up with witchhazel and that's it. My skin is no longer oily in some areas and dry in others. It just feels smooth and clean. I think my pores even look smaller :) This is my permanent facial cleanser for now on. This is the one I could not do without...
