I take and give Cod Liver Oil to my daughter to help her and myself with our respiratory issues and to reduce symptoms in of colds during the winter months. The taste of the is bearable.

Doctor Recommended
Dr Asa Andrew recommends cod liver oil over all other forms of omega 3. Using the liquid and a big spoon you can get so much more than taking gel caps. Carlson's tastes great.

Great Product
My 1st time having Carlson Cod Liver Oil Liquid Lemon brand. Vitamin Shopped brands are always out of order. I am happy to try this brand. I had a bad reactions nasal dripping from meds and my doctor discontinued meds. Several months my nasal dripping still continued non stopped. I decided to order Carlson After 2 days taking this product my nasal dripping reduced tremendously.
I will definitely continue to buy Carlson Cod Liver Oil Liquids Lemon

Carlson Lemon Cod Liver Oil
We have used this for over a decade. I must now find another brand because it has retinyl palmitate added. Look it up on Environmental Working Group website.

Not my mom's cod liver oil.
My mom used togive us a tablespoon of cod liver oil. I absolutely hated it so as an adult I refused to take it. I found out cod liver oil could help me with a couple issues I'm having so I decided to put my fears aside. This oil came in a dark glass bottle instead of plastic which I was very happy about. (It doesn't mention it in the description.) It also has a smooth flavor. I ordered the lemon-flavor to avoid any issues. The lemon taste is very nice, not bitter or puckery. The oil goes down very smooth and so far I haven't had any aftertaste or fishy burps. I'm really glad I decided to give it a try and hopefully it helps.

Best Answer:  I have not read any information stating that there is an age restriction for ingesting fish oil.
I ate cold water fish as a child with no adverse affect.
I would use the lemon flavored version. It tastes good and if you belch later on, the only taste is the lemon flavor.
