I've used many different brands of flaxseed oil in the past. The Vitamin Shoppe Brand is better than most company labels and even some well-known name brands, like Barleans.

I've been taking various brands of expensive fish oils from Carlson Labs to Nordic Naturals. I seem to be getting better results with this less expensive flax seed oil from Vitaminshoppe. It helps with my dry eyes and I dont miss the fish taste. Could be that my body likes the vegan source of Omega 3's better than the animal source. I'm not a vegan by any means. I haven't tried any other sources of flax seed oil and I don't plan to.

I am allergic to fish and therefore cannot take any form of fish oil. Flax seed oil is my only option. This size is great because it last a long time and it helps with everything I need it to. It's usually more expensive in other stores as well.
