By using plumpp’s shelf stable, raw sea moss, you can rehydrate a little at a time and make your weekly sea moss gel. No waste, no added preservatives, no questioning whether you are getting the whole, nutrient packed sea moss.

HOW TO MAKE SEA MOSS GEL:

• 1. RINSE: Rinse the raw sea moss to remove any sea debris and excess salt. Be sure to use filtered, spring, or alkaline water.
• 2. SOAK: Add sea moss and enough filtered, alkaline, or spring water to cover (by approximately 3 inches) to a large container. Ensure all the sea moss is submerged. Cover the bowl and allow to soak for at least 12-24 hours. Your sea moss will expand- up to 3 times its size!plumpp tip: add half a lime to neautralize the ocean taste. Leave the lime in while soaking.
• 3. STRAIN: Strain while preserving the soaking water. It is now ready to use. You can leave the sea moss in this state and use as needed or prepare a sea moss gel with the next step.
• 4. BLEND: To make a gel, add the sea moss to a high-powered blender along with the 2-3 cups of the soaking water (which now contains tons of nutrients!). Blend until it is smooth, about 1-3 minutes.
• 5. STORE: Transfer the sea moss gel to an airtight container and refrigerate. The sea moss gel will thicken in the fridge after 2 hours.

Consume within 3 weeks.
