What is Same-Day Delivery?
Same-Day Delivery allows you to place an order via our website or app to get your products delivered on the same day. This service is available seven days a week in select areas. We’ll share your order information and contact details with DoorDash, our delivery partner.
What is the cost of Same-Day Delivery?
$8.99 per order.
How do I know if Same-Day Delivery is available in my area?
Same Day Delivery is currently available in most areas, but make sure your zip code is correct when you select it in the Delivery Options section. We’ll let you know right there if we are unable to deliver the same day based on your location.
Do I need an account to place a Same-Day Delivery order?
No, a registered account is not required, you can still choose Same-Day Delivery and check out as a guest.
Is there a minimum for Same-Day Delivery?
No, there is not a minimum spend required to place a Same-Day Delivery order.
Are all products available for Same-Day Delivery?
No, availability depends on our local inventory in your service area. In addition, some products are ineligible—these will be clearly identified on the website.
Which forms of payment are accepted for Same-Day Delivery?
You can use all forms of payment, including major credit cards, PayPal, and other accepted methods.
Can I leave delivery instructions for the driver?
Yes, you can add instructions during the checkout process. These might include things like gate codes, specific drop-off locations, or other essential information.
Tracking and Delivery
When will my Same-Day Delivery order arrive?
Orders must be placed by 2PM local time to be received on the same day. On the rare occasions stores are scheduled to close early, Same-Day Delivery orders need to be in by 1PM.
Note: Orders in by the cutoff times will be delivered the same day. Orders placed after cutoff times are delivered the following day. Detailed instructions will be provided with your order confirmation email or text.
How will I know the driver is on the way?
You’ll receive SMS messages for updates, both when your order is on its way and delivered. We’ll text you tracking links once the driver is in en route.
Can I track my Same-Day Delivery order in real time?
Yes, once it’s out for delivery, registered users can track it in real-time through the DoorDash tracking page, which will be visible in your purchase history. You’ll also receive a tracking link and order status updates via text message to the mobile number provided during checkout.
Will the driver call or text me before arriving?
You’ll receive a “Delivery Arriving” message and then a “Delivery Complete” notice by text. We recommend that registered and signed-in users keep track of their order status via the DoorDash tracking link provided, or by referencing their purchase history.
What if I don't receive my Same-Day Delivery order?
Your order should arrive by 7PM local time. If you haven’t received it by then, please contact our Customer Service team by chat or here.
Why was my Same-Day Delivery order delivered the next day?
Our daily cutoff is 2PM local time for orders to be eligible for Same-Day Delivery. If your order is placed after 2PM, it will be delivered the next day by 7PM.
What if I’m not available when the driver arrives?
Unless there are age restricted items within your order, which would require the driver to hand it to you directly and verify age and ID, all orders are contactless. That means the driver will leave your (non-age restricted) order at the front door or lobby.
What if I live in an apartment building or gated community?
Make sure to provide specific delivery instructions during checkout, including gate codes, building numbers, and apartment details. The driver will follow your instructions to complete the delivery. If access is an issue, the driver may contact you directly.
Changes and Cancelations
Can I cancel or change my Same-Day Delivery order?
If you need to cancel or make changes after placing your order, please contact Customer Support here.
What can I do if I entered the wrong address on my Same-Day Delivery order?
Please contact our customer service team here as soon as possible, so we can work to edit your address.
Can I add something to my Same-Day Delivery order?
Once your order has been placed, it is not possible to add additional items.

What can I do if some of my Same-Day Delivery items are missing?

What should I do if someone else received my order by mistake?
Please contact our Customer Service team via chat or here. We'll investigate and work to resolve the situation.
What if my package is damaged during delivery?
Please take photos of the damage and contact our Customer Service team via chat here. We'll work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
What happens if I get a notice that some of my items are unavailable after ordering?
You will not be charged for unavailable items. We’ll still deliver the items that are available and you’ll receive an email confirmation.
What is the timeframe for submitting refund requests?
For issues involving late deliveries, undeliverable items, or problems with delivered items, a refund request must be submitted within 30 days of placing your order. All other refund requests must be submitted within 60 days of placing your order. To request a refund, please contact our Customer Service team via chat or here.
Changes and Cancelations
What happens in the case of severe weather on my delivery day?
Same-Day Delivery orders may be delayed or canceled for safety reasons. You'll be notified if we are unable to meet our 7PM local time promise. In most cases, if delivery cannot be completed the same day, it will be the next day.
Is signature or ID verification required for Same-Day Delivery?
Only in cases where an item is age restricted. All other Same-Day Delivery orders are contactless, and the driver will leave your package at your specified delivery location.
Can my Same-Day order be delivered to a P.O. Box?
No, because it requires a physical street address. Our Same-Day Delivery partner, DoorDash, uses private carriers who are not authorized to deliver to P.O. Boxes, which are only serviced by the United States Postal Service (USPS).
Miscellaneous
Who will be delivering my Same-Day Delivery order?
When ordered directly through www.vitaminshoppe.com, Same-Day Delivery is offered through our partner, DoorDash, in select areas across the United States. You can also order for same-day shipping directly through Instacart, Uber Eats, or DoorDash.
Will I earn Healthy Awards® points on Same-Day Delivery orders?
Yes, you will! Same-Day Delivery shoppers earn rewards points on orders, just like any other purchase.
Will my order arrive in multiple shipments?
No, your order will ship from a single location and all items are delivered within the same shipment.
Other Delivery Partners
Can I use The Vitamin Shoppe coupons with Instacart, Uber Eats, or DoorDash?
No. Our coupons can only be used in-store, on our website, or with our app.
Can I make changes to or cancel an order that I placed on Instacart, Uber Eats, or DoorDash after I submit it?
Instacart: Once an order has been submitted, we are unable to make any changes. You can cancel an order online up to the time Instacart’s Personal Shoppers start picking the order in the store. Typically, this is 1-2 hours before the requested delivery or pick-up time. Cancellation fees do not apply if the order is cancelled prior to the shopper picking the order. Please contact Instacart at (888) 246-7822 for order changes or updates.
Uber Eats: You can make live changes to your Uber Eats order until the Uber Eats courier checks out in the store. You can cancel an order online up to the time the Uber Eats courier starts shopping for the order in the store. Please contact Uber Eats through their website or app for any issues with your order.
DoorDash:You can cancel an order up to the time DoorDash’s Dashers start picking the order in the store. Please contact DoorDash through their website or app for any issues with your order.
Can I call The Vitamin Shoppe® for help on an order that I placed on Instacart, Uber Eats, or DoorDash?
No, those orders are handled through their respective brands as follows:

Uber Eats and DoorDash: Navigate to your order via their apps and chat with the in-app support team.
Do I earn Healthy Awards® points for Instacart, Uber Eats, or DoorDash orders?
Instacart and Uber: Yes. Points can be earned if Healthy Awards # is provided at the point of checkout. Healthy Awards® points cannot be added post purchase.
DoorDash: No, not at this time.
Please note: Cash Back Awards cannot be applied to Instacart or Uber Eats orders.

Where do Instacart, Uber Eats, and DoorDash deliver?
Instacart, Uber Eats, and DoorDash deliver to markets around all The Vitamin Shoppe® locations. Enter your address on their respective apps or websites to see if they deliver to your address.
How do I get a refund on or return a product purchased on Instacart, Uber Eats, or DoorDash?
Changing your mind is ok! Items purchased through Instacart, Uber Eats, or DoorDash can be returned within 30 days to any The Vitamin Shoppe® store. Bring the item and printed receipt to a store associate and inform them where your original order is from. You will then receive a merchandise credit for your order.
If purchased through the Instacart Marketplace, you can go into your order on their website or app and request an item refund within 7 days of the delivery date. Refunds are processed immediately, but it may take up to 2 weeks to see the funds in your account, depending on the bank. If you still need assistance or additional details regarding Instacart’s return policy please contact Instacart Support directly at (888) 246-7822 or help@instacart.com.
Refunds are not available for items purchased through Uber Eats or DoorDash.
Is the price ever different on Instacart, Uber Eats, or DoorDash products vs. vitaminshoppe.com or in-store?
The Vitamin Shoppe® sets the price of items on Instacart, Uber Eats, and DoorDash. However, prices may sometimes vary in your area as some in-store sales and promotions may not apply. Prices on Instacart may be higher than in-store to cover the cost of personal shopping.
