Be careful of the expiration date
I was glad to find the Buffered C which I ordered on-line for pickup in the store on 5/26/22. The bottle contained 100 capsules, one per day. After opening the bottle, a few days later I noticed the expiration date is 6/30/22. I like the buffered C because it is easier on the stomach. However, I will have to be careful now that I know The Vitamin Shoppe sells old stock that will expire before the contents can be used.

Great Products! Prompt Service, but . . . . .
Vitamin Shoppe has great products, excellent customer service, but the biggest gripe I would say would be that Vitamin Shoppe decides to discontinue certain products on the fly, do not inform customers (especially those who place regular/repeat orders on same product: For eg: Women's Daily Plant Based Multi-Vitamin). Vitamin Shoppe does not have the courtesy to inform buyers about this or suggest alternate options available @ Vitamin Shoppe

We use it daily
I have each of us taking 3-5000 mg daily of vitamin C, adding even more if we feel like we are coming down with something.A wholistic Dr said add 1000mg per day until you get a loose bowel movement, then back it down 1000mg. It works for us! The buffered makes it easier on the stomach.

Does this product contain maltodextrin?

  I have Solgar Ester-C, 1000 mg. There is no sweetener in that brand. Right now I do not have the Vitamin Shoppe brand of Buffered C-Complex, although I have taken it for years. Sorry I couldn't help more. Have you checked the ingredients online?
