Does this product contain shell fish?

Best Answer:  Well, one must trust the manufacturer or not buy the product.
The manufacturer's label states that it contains 1000 mg. of cod liver oil with other ingredients being soybean oil, soft shell gel beef gelatin, glycerin and water. It states further "ContaIns fish (cod)."
As there is no mention of shellfish anywhere on the label, unless the manufacturer is blatantly lying, it does not contain shellfish.

Concern about the beef gelatin in this product, does anyone know what kind of beef they are using, is it hormone/antibiotic free?

Best Answer:  Sorry but I have no idea. It never occurred to me to ask. I have been all over the Carlson Labs website and can find no information about the beef gelatin that they use. I suspect a direct question to the manufacturer is the only way to find out.

Best Answer:  Shellfish does not show up on the ingredients list. That is one of the reasons why I take them. Carlson has a very good reputation.
