Great for kids immunity!
My two kids take it everyday. They love the taste! Definitely helps with their immune system as evident if we've ever run out for a period of time-they end up coming down with something. They like all the flavors and the shelf stable one (with yellow band on box) we've taken while traveling long trips.

I ordered the refrigerator option intentionally. However, the items were shipped without any cooling mechanism. These probiotics are expensive and it would be nice for the type (i.e., refrigerated or not) prior to shipping.

Works great even for adults! Gentle but effective. Best product for my adult finicky digestive issues. I see the effect

What makes it require refrigeration? I noticed that there is another version that does not require refrigeration.

Best Answer:  Probiotics= Live bacteria. These organisms are sensitive to heat and easily perish at higher room temperatures. Many products may not contain the advertised numbers especially if on shelf for several months. Remember many don't have independent lab verification of viable probiotic numbers from shelf bought samples. Imagine having a tub of Yogurt on the shelf for a few weeks- would you buy it?
