Easy to take...
As a senior citizen I had read that B12 deficiency was common. I have been taking product for 3 months and honestly feel better. Moods are more even, I have a lot more energy, have not felt the need for an afternoon nap as often. Plus it tastes good.

I'm taking metropolol I/4 pill for blood pressure, and Pravastatin for cholesterol and lasarten every day. there's no problem taking this vitamin Methyl B-12 5000micrograms 60 lozenges every 3-4 days?

Best Answer:  First, why do you want to take methyl folate, 5000 mcg?
My Doc who is an ARNP prescribed it for the severe spasms and cramps in my legs. I tried the low-dose form available without a prescription, but did not have any results. I bought the quite expensive 5-MTHF he had prescribed and worked up to taking 10 mg every morning and it has helped somewhat. Unfortunately the high dose is not available at Vitamin Shoppe. The brand is Thorne Research in Idaho. It is -- for sixty 5 mg capsules. A bottle lasts a month at 10 mg a day.

Best Answer:  It's a lozenge -- place on your tongue and let it dissolve. The theory is that the B12 can be absorbed through the blood vessels of the tongue and jaw without being destroyed by stomach enzymes and acidity if it were to be swallowed.

Can i take this vitamin separately with my medicines? or i can take all at once?

Best Answer:  I take this to help correct a genetic defect with MTHFR and B12 recycling. It is my understanding that methyl folate and methyl B12 are best absorbed first in the morning on an empty stomach away from other supplements. That is when I take mine.
