Best Answer:  This stevia powder is primo and very concentrated without bitterness- sugar is extinct for me. Anyway, I would say, for a cup of coffee I use one quick shake of powder from the SMALLER bottle- not the big 3.5 oz one. It's merely a light dusting of the stuff for a cup of strong coffee and I like mine SWEET. I think alot of people use too much and say it's bitter. It's not. Just try it in a cup and see how sweet you like it. I never use the miniscule spoon in there because it's too much for a cup. Go step by step, slowly and don't overdo it. It's difficult to advise on sweetness- everyone if different..but this stuff lasts forever..and I love it!

Best Answer:  Kal brand Stevia is one of the VERY few manufacturers who do not add anything to their Pure Stevia product. They have a Stevia product with fiber added, but the PURE STVEIA EXTRACT is labeled just that, PURE. I cannot prove anything beyond what is on the label however. But it is the only one that actually tastes like Stevia to us.
Use it sparingly to start with as I found it flavorful and good. Now I love it. A good healthy scoop is what I now use. God Bless you.

Best Answer:  The 3-ounce bottle says 'serving size 1 scoop, 2381 servings' but does not state the actual volume/measure/amount of the teeny, tiny scoop. i measured years ago, and found it to be equal to about 1/32 of a teaspoon. i found a conversion table that says 1/2 tsp stevia extract powder = 1/2 cup white sugar. All the math makes my head hurt. ;-) We use it primarily in small increments for sweetening beverages, homemade salad dressings, etc. and it lasts about 3 months for 2 people. We selected this brand several years ago, after trying many different brands and types. We like it because it is PURE Stevia EXTRACT, with no fillers and no bitter aftertaste, as so many of the others have. plus ordering online from Vitamin Shoppe saves money and time.

Best Answer:  It doesn't take much stevia at all to make things sweet. I have never cooked with sugar, just with honey or agave nectar. When a recipe calls for sugar, I just add a little bit of stevia, then taste the batter or dough to see if it's sweet enough. This is what I have done with my tapioca pudding recipe. I love this brand of stevia as it doesn't have an unpleasant taste or aftertaste like some do.

Best Answer:  We used this product (KAL) for YEARS because it was the best tasting 100% pure stevia we could find on the market. Late in 2013 we noticed that the label had suddenly changed without any notification. We were VERY disappointed and stopped using this product because it now contains maltodextrin and is no longer pure stevia. A small label was also added to the bottles at that time reading "made in China" which was not on the bottle when it was pure stevia. Hope this answer helps you.

Best Answer:  I have not tried using it in recipes, only to sweeten lemonade or tea, so I don't think I can answer that question. One of those small capfuls is very sweet. I can't use a whole one to sweeten my herbal tea. It's just too sweet. You might be able to contact the company and ask them. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.
