About This Product

Fractionated coconut oil is truly a versatile oil with numerous benefits from culinary to cosmetics. A fraction of the whole oil where certain chains of fatty acids are separated, refining, clarifying, and deodorizing the oil while keeping the benefits as an emollient and moisturizer the same. Unlike many other carrier oils it is highly stable, odorless, deodorized, non-staining, and colorless making it wonderful to use as a carrier oil for essential oils, for handmade skin and hair products, aromatherapy, and massage therapy. Feather-light, absorbs readily into the skin without clogging pores and is excellent for dry, troubled skin.

Directions

For personal care, it can be applied to the skin for face and body care. Can be used on all skin types and is excellent for mature, dry-damaged skin. May also be used as a massage oil.

Coconut & Apricot oil
The only thing that I'd change is that I don't smell any coconut or apricot! I want to smell the coconut and apricot when I've applied it. Who doesn't want to smell like a coconut or an apricot!! (If either oil had the scent of coconut or apricot, I would've given it 5 stars. )

Love It
Obsessed with these oils. They absorbs well and doesn't stain my clothes. My skin is smooth all day with no greasiness. Nourished and so soft. Gives my skin a nice glow without clogging my pores. A little goes along way.

Great product for skin and for massage and for a carrier oil for essential oils

Can you use this fractionated oil as the last step in skin care regimen, on top of your moisturizer? In other words will it work as a moisturizer booster when your skin is very dry? I wear 1- serum then 2- moisturizer so I'm looking at adding this as #3 to go on top of the moisturizer to help my skin stay comfortable all night. Will it work that way? FYI All my skin care is store bought, I don't use DIY stuff.

  I would say yes!! It goes on nicely and does not stay "oily/greasy". I don't use it on my face regularly but I have used it several times and have been happy with the results.

  I believe it would work like that. I may try it on myself tonight. It is much lighter than baby oil. I use it in a Coat Conditioning spray for horses. It makes them more shiny

Can this oil be used as a carrier oil for doterra oils?

  Yes it can! I am currently using it as a carrier oil with Mountain Rose Herbs essential oils and it works great.

why, if it is a dietary supplement and 100% cocnut oil, is marked for external use only?

  There is a more solid version of coconut oil sold in the grocery stores. I do not think all of it is "food grade" made for human consumption. I use it in shampoo and coat conditioning for horses. Does it say it is a dietary supplement on their product description?

  This product is used to dilute essential oils for topical health needs. I use it as an eye make-up remover as well.

I'm thinking of buying it to mix with magnesium oil spray to make the magnesium oil less irritating to the skin? Would this work?

  This fractionated coconut oil is great to use with essential oils.It would NOT be useful for magnesium oil though. The following is from a source about magnesium oil:"Don’t apply lotion before using the magnesium oil. Lotions and other oils will saturate the skin and hinder the uptake of themagnesium by the skin. Instead what you will have is a whole bunch of magnesium oil sitting on top of your skin."

  Fractionated Coconut Oil is one of the best oils for diluting. I use this oil for most of my DIY essential oil sprays and blends. I have found that this Life-Flo product is very good. No adverse reactions from any of my essential oil users. I hope this helps.

  I don't know. I did not use the product in that manner. I just used it as an additional lubricant along with my lotion after a shower to keep my skin moisturizer. So far I've been very pleased with the product. No side effects.
