Best Answer:  I don't take folic acid supplements or b-complex that contains folic acid. I take a medication that can cause folate levels to drop so I have to take a supplement. I have been using this methyl folate supplement for about a year now. My lab work in January showed that it was good. You can find a b-complex dupplrmrny that contains folate on this site.

If one capsule contains 800 mcg and “serving” is one capsule, how does one serving contain 1,360 mcg?   The math does not make sense.

Best Answer:  The 800 mcg is the standardized, specific form of folate (L-5-METHYLTETRAHYDROFOLATE) that is within the 1,360 mcg serving that contains a different form of folate.
