This product is excellent. The color depends on concentration not effectiveness. Some brands you have to shake the bottle before using. This brand is one of the few I use and is reputable. Keeps the liver clean and healthy

Opaque, muddy brown in color
This MIlk Thistle liquid product made with glycerine is opaque and muddy brown in appearance. I bought 3 other comparable brands to compare and all the other brands are either pale yellow or amber in color. None of them is opaque and muddy. I do not plan on using this product.
