Sambucus (nigra) L. is the Latin name for Black Elder. The dark blue/black berries of this plant have many naturally-occurring nutritional substances such as Rubtin, Quercetin (flavonoids) and Anthocyanins. Current research supports the long held beliefs about Elderberrys health benefits on the body. Eldeberry syrup has been traditionally used to help support the immune system, especially during the winter season or when experiencing extra stress.**

An added advantage to the use of Elderberry is its record of safety for all ages. When deciding on an Elderberry liquid, remember to check the kind of sweetener it contains. Many brands add sugar or sorbitol, while Natures Anwers® Sambucus nigra L. contains only pure extract and vegetable glycerin.

Directions

As a dietary supplement take one (1) teaspoon 4 times a day in a small amount of water. Shake well before use.

Sambucus - Elderberry
I have used Elderberry for quite a few years to build my immune system and calm my cough when needed. Sambucus is the item purchased because it works. Use of supplements from ingredients not saturated with fillers, chemicals etc are my preference.
