Directions

Add about two heaping scoops of Serious Mass Protein Powder to a blender filled with 24 fl. oz. of cold water, milk or other beverage. Blend for 30-45 seconds until dissolved. Tips: New users may find it beneficial to begin with 1/2 of a serving for the first week and then gradually increase to 1 serving.

I am a female. My weight is 80 pounds. I am looking to gain some weight and was wondering if this product would be right for me. I'm not going to working out much. People told me to eat meat and other things, but I am a vegetarian. Should I buy this product?

Best Answer: If you're not going to be working out, you will only gain fat. Maltodextrin (the main ingredient) will spike your blood sugar considerably, and if the cells in your body aren't using it (because you're not working out), it will get stored as fat. Now I don't know what you look like. If you're skin an bones, then sure this might help (at the expense of your pancreas cranking out insulin). A healthier option if you're not working out would be Garden of Life Raw Meal.FYI, when most people tell you to gain weight, they mean muscle, not fat. Strength training 3 days a week will get you where you need to be. And don't worry about bulking up. As a female you lack the testosterone necessary to make that happen. Hope this helps,Skye

Best Answer: I don't know. I take it often. However, in much reduced quantities. All I'm looking for is an extra 500 calories a day to boost my total to 3500 which is too much for me to eat with quality food. This gives me that 500 extra calories. So in that context, it's working for me.

Best Answer: I took this product twice a day and ate all the right things to help gain weight. In a one month period I gained 18 pounds without working out. Only downfall is you have to mix it very well(blender). I would recommend this product if you take it like your supposed to. Very satisfied with results

Product weighs 6 pounds but only yields 8 servings? If you take daily (just once) you would need to order more than 3 containers to get you through the month. Maybe a good product but the price per serving seems a little high.

Best Answer: Hey Zach! You'll use your weight gainers whenever you feel you are short on your calorie intake in order to remain anabolic throughout your day. You could take Serious Mass about an hour before your workout to accomplish this, or you could take it an hour-or-so after your workout to accomplish the same purpose. I have taken Serious Mass before, after, and a lot of the time (during my morning workouts) in the midst of the workout, along with some other whole food as well. You'll find though that you should try to minimize your intake of the weight gainers, however, because, while you will be able to satisfy your caloric requirement during the day, you'll start to look like shit. Weight gainers don't exactly make your skin look very nice, which is why most people use them only when necessary -- a lot of the time you'll be needing to eat 7-8000 calories a day, which is .... difficult to do day after day. Regardless, I hope it works out for you. Have fun lifting! ^_^

Best Answer: According to the label there are only 8 servings. So it can be emptied within in 8 days if you drink one per day. Personally I only used about 1/4 to 1/3 of a serving at a time since my goal was to just use pre or post workout to replenish approx 60g of carbs. As well as just boosting my calories by a small amount to reach my goals for "Myfitnesspal." (app)

I bought Serious Mass in january and I have been mixing it with milk. After mixing it tastes fine, but there is red at the bottom of my container, i was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and if it is normal? It still tastes fine and seems to be working out great.
