The Orgain work well in general term. When you don't have time or can't find a healthy place to lunch, this drink may be an option. Also it taste good and have no strong flavor. In terms of loosing weight I can not guarantee any result because I use it for meal replacement. But it could help, because the drink is designed to be balanced in terms of calories, fat, sugar and protein. In addition this drink has vitamins, minerals, little portion of fruit, little portion of vegetable and some antioxidants. More important is that this drink is free (based on the label) of: gluten, soy protein isolate, artificial flavor, artificial sugar, artificial color, artificial preservatives, high fructose corn syrup and other bad stuff you can find in other drink.   I lost 80 pounds several years ago by changing my eating habits, and have maintained that loss by continuing to eat a diet of nutrient dense natural foods and avoiding processed foods. Within the context of such a diet, I find that ORGAIN is an excellent meal substitute when I do not have the time or energy to prepare something more complicated. Whether you can use it to lose weight, in my opinion, would depend almost entirely on what ELSE you are eating. (The processed food-like substances that many people eat nowadays make if extremely difficult to lose weight for a variety of reasons.)

  I use Orgain every morning for breakfast. Sometimes I have it for lunch as well. I do eat a balanced dinner every day. If you want to lose weight you have to exercise. I go to the gym twice a week for strength training and use a recumbent bike every day. Good luck with your exercise program.

This product can be used to lose weight (you REPLACE an unhealthy or high caloric meal with a serving of Orgain -- it has no saturated fat or excess sugar) or to gain weight (SUPPLEMENT your normal diet by adding 1-3 servings of Orgain in between meals).

  this can definitely be part of a healthy diet. The good ratio of protein, carbs, and fats makes it a balanced snack or meal that is probably alot healthier than typical snacks
