I recently switched from Nordic vitamin C to this brand because they were the only brand offering a 1000mg vitamin c in a gummy. First off, I LOVE how this one makes me feel. I def was not getting enough vit c with the prior brand. One thing I wish Solgar had more of is sweetness though as this one is pretty tart. I do NOT recommend chewing it alone without something else in your mouth due to its tartness. It is coated with some stevia on the outside which does help a little but once you reach the tartness, it's all tart. I was going to return it after just 2 days of trying it, but honestly i found a better way to take it without being overwhelmed by the tartness. It def helps if you are already taking other gummy vitamins. Just pop those in your mouth first and then put the solgar one in - it does help doing it this way. It's the only way i can do it to help combat the tartness.
That being said, if you can stand it, i recommend it because i have felt the difference the 1000mg is giving me. I have felt more energy and overall better immunity. I just wish it was a tad sweeter.
And I'm not sure what the other reviewer is referring to about where this vitamin is made. I am not being lied to. The bottle clearly states "Product of Israel. Carefully manufactured for Solgar, 500 Willow Tree Road., Leonia, New Jersey 07605 USA"
