How much d3 is in each drop?
It says serving size is 5 drops, but that does not necessarily mean each drop is 1000 IUs.
Now foods 5000 IU liquid D3 says serving size is 4 drops. But it goes on to say that each drop is 100 IU. So, the serving size is 400 IU's and does not match the front label.

So, we can conclude that serving size does not have to match the front label. If that is true, we have no idea what the amount of vitamin d3 is per drop on the vitamin shoppe brand because they do not say how much is in each drop.

So, I would like an answer direct from the manufacturer, how much D3 is in each drop?

Did Vitamin Shoppe used to have Liquid Vit D3 that was 5000 IU per drop? It seems that's what I used to have. I just noticed after a new bottle is almost empty, that it is 1000 IU per drop in this bottle.

Best Answer:  Since it's obviously a highly concentrated substance, I would only give it to such a young child after consulting with my physician who of course would prescribe the correct dosage (if appropriate).

It contains lemon essential oil. Are the lemons organic or is it possible that the oil is coming from the rind of pesticide-laden lemons?

Best Answer:  If it dosen't say organic on the label it is not. For Organic vitamins I go to: wwwyoungevityonlinecom/wilsonteam They have a spray that is very effective. Will get your Vit D-3 levels where they need to be.

Best Answer:  It does not have a typical vitamin taste. Since it is a liquid and 5 drops = 5000 IU it is a very small amount you use. I put it into a bit of juice and I can't taste it at all.

Regarding the packaging, does this bottle come with a dropper? The picture seems to show a dropper cap on the bottle, but several reviews indicate that there is no dropper.
