For lack of Sunshine
I've been taking Solgar vitamin D3 for my daily intake of sunshine ?? for about 45yrs and at no time has my vitamin D been low or deficient. Just one gel pill daily of 10,000 IU or 250 MCG is all that you need for a full day of vitamin D. For us elderly and those that work inside and don't get enough sunshine I truly recommend Solgar vitamin D3.

Love Vitamin Shoppe!
I started D3 at doctor's orders. So far, I have no stomach upset or anything like that from taking it every day. I take it with milk as my understanding is that there is greater absorption when taken with calcium. I'll know better how well it works after my December follow-up blood work. High Quality and effective liquid Vitamin D
This is an excellent product by Solgar. So easy to use and my body tolerates it well without any issues. The orange flavor is natural and not too overpowering. I absolutely LOVE the measuring lines on the dropper stick; that is SO helpful for someone like me who needs to take less than 5000 IU per day. I take one of these every night! If you have the time to get sunlight before 9:00 AM you get a really good dose of this must needed vitamin. I understand most individuals are deficient in D-3!

D3 is esential to health. contrary to what some "authorities say it's NOT poisoning to take high dosages. I take 10.000 a day if I don't see the sun too often. 5.000 IU is my minimum.

  5000 IU is at least necessary for good health. 600 IU is too low to make any difference. Also, I take the Vit D with vit K2 synergistically which is great for your bones and teeth plus overall health.

  I take this - one a day. It's a capsule, so you can't take half of it. If you need a smaller dose, then I would recommend finding one that is closer to the dose recommended.

  I am not in the medical field, so my comments are not quantifiable on the subject matter. However, I believe that 10,000 IU is not too much if you are mildly active and hydrate (with water). Your body will dispel most of the vitamin via a combination of urination, movement or activity and/or sweating. This is from my experience taking 2 - 5000 IU tabs a day for a few days and I drink a lot of water to aide in flushing my system.
