Energy helper. Quick absorbtion!
I find I like the liquid much better than a capsule. The taste is not bad at all. I take this when I take my fish oils and my energy and mood are much better. The reason for the 4 star and not the 5 is because the packaging when shipped is not very good. 1 of the bottles leaked out a bit because the top of the dropper cracked. Thankfully it was not the glass that was broke.

Why did The Vitamin Shoppe stop making liquid Vitamin B Complex and switch from Vitamin B12 (as methylocoalamin) to Vitamin B12 (as cyanocobalamin)?

Best Answer:  Most liquid B12 brands purchased in stores can be stored at room temperature so refrigeration is not necessary. Some medical-grade B12 used for injections may require refrigeration.

  It has been a while since I used the liquid as I switched over to the B12's in tablet(subliminal) form. So my emptied bottle is long gone and I don't recall any color or dye.

How many milligrams per dose?

  I've used this product for a long, long time and my doseis 3 half droppers once a day, before 4 pm.

  5 drops = roughly 500 mcg. I was using a full dropper and my doctor told me to scale back.

So, it is safe for me to take this after every meal throughout each day?

  Directions say to use one dropper 1x per day after a meal. I would check with your doctor to determine how much B12 you can take per day. I take it under the tongue in the morning and it generally works for me.

  I took 3 droppers in the AM. It increases stamina so don't. Know if I would follow that schedule.

  B12 might help, in general, but you might want to look at your breakfast, as well. If you are skimping, or rushing and eating too much sugar/caffeine to compensate for the early hours, you may be sabotaging yourself. Lethargy sounds like low blood sugar to me! Good Luck, George.MMJ

Best Answer:  It probably does, it tastes sweet. I don't think it has a significant amount to be of concern, it is a small amount you are consuming. If one is on a sugar restricted diet, they should keep it in mind, though.

  The dosage per one full dropper is 400 mcg folkic acid & 1000 mcg B12; however, I find in actuality I use a little less than a full dropper and don't bother to try to add the few drops. The proportion would be the same anyway!

  Each serving is 1 ml. There are 59 servings. Each serving contains 1000 mcg B12 (1667% daily value) and 400 mcg Folic Acid (100%). Hope that helps.
