Citicoline (stabilized CDP Choline (cytidine 5' diphosphocholine) is a naturally occuring intermediate involved inthe synthesis of phosphatidylcholine, a major constituent of the grey matter of brain tissue (30%).*

Citicoline consumption promotes brain metabolism by enhancing the synthesis of acetyl-choline, restoring phospholipid content in the brain, which positively affects memory and other brain activity.*

Directions

Take 1 to 2 capsules per day with food, or as directed by your qualified health care consultant.

Best Answer: Yes, the Jarrow Formulas 250 mg CITICHOLINE – CDP Choline definitely did bring some improvement in my concentration and short-memory.

Those benefits were further improved by adding Olympian Labs Inc., Phosphatidylserine, 60 Softgels, which cost $29.05 + $6.00 shipping = $35.05.

I have probably been taking it for a minimum of a year, possibly longer. I work as a computer programmer and systems analyst as well as coming from a family background where some members have developed Alzheimers. Cannot say definitively that Citicoline is providing benefits in my profession or protecting my brain otherwise, but it certainly does not seem to have done any harm. In some countries outside the U.S. Citicoline is available by prescription only.
