Bar as expected, delivery better than normal

I happen to love or hate ana bars, no inbetween. The newer formula no longer has every bar tasting like peanut butter - which I like. (The fluff nutter is the only one that should taste like pb, imho.) I even like the graham cracker dust.

The problem is that sometimes, they are super soft and delicious - which is great because I have no teeth - or they are hard as rock upon delivery and need microwaving to even be cutable, let alone "chewable". At 40+$ per box, not knowing if they are going to be fresh or from the back of the supply closet really makes ordering a rare occasion. This delivery was perfect - nice and soft, even after they sat outside for a few hours (the hard comes from being stale or to erratic temperatures during storage, so i did worry but it was fine) - so Im content.

That said - its a protein candy bar. Its not sugar free, it uses real chocolate and pb at its base - its a special treat for me, not a replacement for my daily protein routine. Its better than many options, and candy for people with eating restrictions isnt exactly a oversaturated market (although its getting more options every day).

Looks are deceiving

The original just tasted like chocolate and crisps the updated still the same now it's the dust from a graham cracker? It did not add value and def was annoying to have on top the chocolate isn't as firm very melt and the mini marshmallows didn't come through so my suggestion buy an Outright bar s'mores OR Gorilla Bar also the packaging didn't really make it more appealing
