The bottle says nothing about the source of the hyaluronic acid, but that is usually a poultry product. The capsules are gluten free. No indication is given of what the collagen is derived from in this patented formula.

  I don't know if age is relevant. You seem fairly young, and I wonder why you are considering this supplement. I am 66 years of age, and I use it for joint health and for softening of fine lines and wrinkles. A doctor friend of mine suggested I try it, so I did.

  I haven't the expertise to answer, but I can make the assumption that, in the case of this supplement, an empty stomach assists in the absorption of the contents.

  I don't think the empty stomach matters. It doesn't have bromelain in it (which you take on an empty stomach for joint support and with food for digestion).

  Collagen comes from animals and I've never had anyone refute it. There is no vegan source - evasiveness and vagueness accompanies most queries, so just avoid it if you don't want to ingest an animal product. I wish someone could prove collagen can be obtained otherwise.

  It also contains chondroitin sulfate which comes from animals. Don't know why they bothered putting it in veggie caps since the contents are not veggie.

  It has not in my case, however, I must admit this was not a health challenge I experienced. I think the product is such a good thing for the rejuvenation of skin that I can only believe the eyes would benefit too.

  I used to have dry eyes but not anymore. I have been taking this product along with others with hyaluronic acid so I can't say if it's this product or a combination of all.

  It has helped with dry skin and achy joints. I take Lutein and Zeaxanthin for eye health and that has made a difference according to my eye doctor.

  Unfortunately it does not help with dry eyes.

  i haven't noticed anything and I've been taking it for a few years, but if you're really concerned you should check with your physician.

  I don't believe these substances should have any effect on medications. They are naturally occurring substances in the body already.

  You'd probably have to ask a doctor or pharmacist that question. Lots of different meds out there! :-)
