My dermatologist recommended it for my crumbling nails. It has strengthened them beautifully. Took a couple of months, but the difference is amazing. It is the same type of medicine given to horses to strengthen their hoofs! It really works. One a day is all you need.

  Haven't noticed my hair getting thicker but my nails are much stronger. They used to split something awful, but now are better. Have been taking it now about 8 months.

  I think it does. However I also use Rogaine (for women) every night as well on the thinning spots near my bangs.

  In my opinion, it helps hair and nail to grow. It doesn't seem to thicken my hair, just help it to grow.

  My hair was getting thin. I read about Biotin helping so I started taking 1 mg twice a day and my hair got thicker. My hair dresser asked what I was doing to get my hair thicker so I knew it was not just my wishful thinking. I told my Mom and it helped her hair and nails grow.

  This supplement has improved the condition and growth of my chemically treated hair I'm trying to grow out, although I took more than 1 capsule daily. It also made my nails grow really well. I've been pleased with the results.

  I think it depends on the person. It is supposed to help your hair and nails. My nails have always been hard. My hair is fine, and I'm almost 60, so the dermatologist recommended it. I've been taking it for several years now. I don't think it's a drastic change, but my hair does feel healthier and stronger.

  It took a couple of weeks before I noticed that my nails were growing faster, though not stronger. My hair seems to be growing much faster also and seems to be shinier. I don't notice much difference in my skin, but it is certainly no worse!

  For me, about three weeks. After that, if you only take one a day, it's like it stays strong in your system. You can tell with your hair and nails that it's working.
