Yes, I am a real person. In my opinion, this casein vanilla flavor is truly the best among other vanilla flavors I've tried - casein or whey isolate. It beats optimum nutrition on taste. I'd say it tastes as good as Natures Best Perfect Rx Vanilla if you've ever tried it.

I will say that the vanilla flavor is the only flavor I like. I think the next flavor they should add to the micellar casein product line is Peanut Butter. NOT Chocolate Peanut butter which everyone else does. With the consistency of casein and a tolerable 0.5g fat/serving, 3-4g carbs, I think Vitamin Shoppe would have a unique product, that nobody else has. Look at PB80, tweak that formula to reduce that fat, maybe add some sucralose, and we may have a winner.

P.S. Vitamin Shoppe, I'd be happy to give feedback if you ever try this flavor. Just send me the sample(s) :)

  My suggestion would be to try the 2 lb. Vanilla with a Vitamin Shoppe discount coupon, and return it if you're dissatisfied. I've tried lots of casein powders in the past, and the micellar Vanilla is the really the single product that draws me to Vitamin Shoppe. 0g fat is truly an accomplishment. Mixing with Lactaid skim milk is a way to add carbs if you want to make this more of an MRP.

BTW, I would really avoid the BodyTech whey isolate - all flavors - I cannot stand them, and the French Vanilla whey isolate tastes like GNC brand vanilla -- but that's just me.

  I have been using vanilla casein protein powder for the past 3 years. I have tried other flavors and vanilla seems to be the best flavor to use for my mixture of ingredients. I like to blend with 14 ounces of water, a cup of frozen blueberries, 3-4 strawberries, and about 8-10 ice cubes for a frosty shake. I drink two of these per day.

  I take this product at least twice a day. Morning with oatmeal, evening with my drink recipe; Milk, strawberries, bananas or blueberries.
The vanilla is not over powering and taste very good with both of the above. Hope this helps, however I understand we may have different taste.

  I find the Vanilla to be very good. I do mix it with Banana or Pineapple, something that will be accented by the vanilla. You might try the unflavored if you are concerned about detracting from you other ingredients, although I have never tried it. Hope this helps!!

  The vanilla flavor taste great. I don't add other ingredients to this product but I don't think it will make a difference to the taste if you do. I only add milk and drink it right before bed.

  Well I usually take this product alone and the taste is great. I've never mixed with other meals.
