        I am not a qualified health professional but I do know that anyone can take Vitamin C-1000 since vitamin c is a water soluble vitamin and your body will absorb what it needs and will disgard the rest. I have raised 3 children and they have all taken Vtiamin C all their life. So, in my opinion the answer is YES!

        Teenagers can definitely benefit from a 3000mg dosage of Vitamin C daily. Besides helping to get a vitamin they may not be getting readily from their diet, vitamin C contributes to immunity, and in combination with other vitamins and minerals, can help them stay healthy. I give vitamin C to my four-year-old.

        I do not see a problem with teens taking this as long as they take only one capsule a day. Vitamin C has been known to cause diarrhea in high doses. That said, I have avoided the flu for the past 3 winters due to taking this and other antioxidants.

        I have given it to our children when they are not feeling too good and it gives them a little "pep" up. It seems to fight the old cold thing off before it gets too bad. My kids are 12 and 14

        I would think it would be fine for teenagers to take. It is a rather large tablet that might be harder to swallow. I like it that it is sustained release.

        These are clear capsules with off-white powder inside, and they are very effective. I am a school bus driver, and several times this year alone, after being exposed to people with very serious colds I started feeling a little symptomatic myself. I took 2-3 of them 3 times daily and stopped the illness in its tracks. I highly recommend them.
