Derma E Firming DMAE Moisturizer
I purchased this Derma-E product from Vitamin Shoppe during 2020. I have purchased this specific Derma-E moisturizer before, and used it with good results. So, I was expecting to have the same positive experience. However - I am sorry to say - that was not the case. After opening the new jar, and applying it at night, the next day I had large red blotches on my face and neck - which I assume was some sort of reaction. I was greatly surprised, as I do not usually have issues with skin products. So, while I am not condemning the Derma-E brand as a whole - as my prior experiences have been positive - definitely a word of caution regarding this particular moisturizer.

So Far So Good!
This firming cream works on contact. The scent is not overwhelming and goes away after a few minutes. I have only used it for a few weeks and my neck, forehead, and abdominal skin are all showing signs of looking firmer. I look forward to using it for a few more months in my regime.

Very moisturizing
I love this cream! I usually alternate between this and DermaE overnight peel aha's at night. Sometimes when I use this I've noticed that I'd get a couple raised red bumps around my eyes, cheekbones or temples. It almost goes away by morning so I'm not sure if it's reacting to something else I'm using or it's this alone. If you have sensitive skin you might want to be careful using this cream.

Derma E firming DMAE moisturizer
It comes with a little warning that you may experience some tingling or stinging due to its ingredients. I did notice some mild stinging but it goes away immediately. This product is really really good. I noticed improvement in my skin texture and tone and it moisturizes effectively. I will definitely continue to purchase it.

The fragrance is way too strong!
Although this may work, I cannot stand the very strong fragrance. And the smell lasts a long time.

Amazing!! Forget about buying Expensive Brands!!
I just bought a jar yesterday, put it on last night and woke up seeing a big difference!! I’m also in love with the hydrating cleanser, serum, cream, and anti-wrinkle retinal cream. I primed my skin with the Derma e microdermabrasion scrub prior to using the creams and serum. I used all these last night and woke up looking like I had a procedure done!! Only $94 for 5 products with $15 off for in store pick-up and I almost paid $300 for Estée Lauder’s luxury line that is drying! Also, a must have is the Derma e hydraulic hydrating line, they plump lines instantly!

It works- completely satisfied
When I purchased this crème I had been experiencing dry patches, and scaling around my neck due a seasonal rash. The dermatologist suggest another OTC crème that did nothing. But the Derma E has my 63 year old face looking beautiful. Just the other day in the middle of a conversation a lady "your skin is so pretty"; I just said thank you. Purchasing 2 jar right now.

Quality Effective Product at Great Price
I've used more expensive big-name brands, but had to get away from them when experiencing allergic reactions to their new formulas! This product has quality ingredients at a great price, and I've seen smoother firmer skin in just a few weeks of use! I use both at night and often under makeup during the day as well.

In the past I used the Derma Night Crème (blue label) and was disappointed it didn't absorb. I could feel the cream was still on my face when I rinsed off in the morning. I'm hoping the Firming DMAE Moisturizer will quickly absorb...?.

Best Answer:  I have found that this moisturizer works very well on my face---I have very dry skin, so this cream is wonderful. It does make your face a little shiny at first, but if you apply your makeup on top of it----your face (to me) looks like you've recovered your lost 5 years of youth. I've had several people compliment on how wonderful my skin looks. I contribute that to using both the night cream and this moisturizer.

Does using sunscreen with this counteract ingredients?

Best Answer:  Yes. I use sunscreen spf30 on top of this. I think your face is more sensitive to sun damage after using this. So you need to use sunscreen during the day.

I've experienced a reaction a couple times when using this cream. I think it's the mixture of one of my other products, I couldn't tell you what. I'll get a couple red raised bumps around my eyes, cheekbones or temples but will almost disappear by morning. I love this cream though. I only use it at night with my retinol and hyaluronic acid products and my vitamin c products in the mornings. Make sure to use a SPF of 30 or more after the use of any of these products bc it'll make your skin more sensitive to the sun and could burn faster. Also remember when using SPF your only getting the benefits of half the SPF that it say it is, so doubling up can't hurt. Do more research on that topic if interested. This cream does sting for a moment after applying but goes away quickly and lessens as your skin gets used to it. Good luck!
