I buy this as soon as I run out!

I have digestive concerns abounding. I can't tolerate much sugar, starch or lactose. Finding an aid for that kind of chronic stomach problem was a life-saver. I consulted a naturalistic Nutritionist, and she suggested Digest Extra for the times when I can't escape the cheese, milk or sugar. And it doesn't just work if I take before the meal. Good enzyme

I have tried a few different enzymes and this one is tasteless, unlike the last one I tried that had oxtail in it, yuck. I don't burp any of it up and I can tell it really helps in digestion, especially when I eat something I know I shouldn't, or I overeat.

A Miracle

I suffered for years with diarrhea and not completely digesting food. Had many tests, tried many products, even an antibiotic that cost over $1000. It was hard to maintain my weight. Then I read about the role of enzymes in the digestive tract and tried these pills. The transformation was nothing short of a miracle. If you suffer from a deficiency of enzymes this product will correct that condition. If there were 10 stars to give it, I would. No side effects that I can detect. Taking once a day with breakfast is enough for me.

Digest Extra

In my old age, it's become needful for me to take these digestive enzymes. I've first tried the seperate lactose and gluten enzymes, and they worked ok. But, I wanted something that would do it all, because I have found other things that are not digesting well. I tried the digest Gold first. It worked ok, too. But, the Digest Extra works the best for me. It works quicker and, apparently, on more stuff the Digest Gold wouldn't work on.

Does the Lipase (and any other enzyme destroyed by acid) in Digest Extra have an enteric coating? Enteric coated enzyme products are protected against destruction by stomach acid.

Best Answer: Not as far as I know. The Digest Extra that I buy is contained in a vegetable capsule. I believe that a close reading of the description of the ingredients should clear this up for you.

Best Answer: I take one every day. And no acid reflux yet. You might want to consider to not eat bread pizza or pastry of any kind for good. As a remedial help to a current or an ongoing acid reflux or a heartburn I would take four pills a day twice a day the whole bottle, as a serious digestion enhancer to be able to digest any kind of food that you might intake to keep the level of stomach acid down and low. Best Answer: Hello,It's hard to say, it really depends on your situation. If you are ill or have weak digestion, I would guess that you should notice results in about 2 weeks time. You should notice less undigested food moving through your digestive tract almost immediately, so your "restroom experience" will likely improve as well.

Best Answer: I would think of this as an aid to digesting things that would normally cause a bit of stomach distress. It is not, for me, and acid reflux aid. I suppose if what you eat causes the excess acid then this could help. But in my experience acid reflux is a separate issue more mechanical in nature, often accompanied by a hiatal hernia. You may need to have that checked out. This is a good product, worth a try!
