How spicy are these? My mom and I don't care for spicy things so I'm not sure whether to purchase them or not.

  for someone who doesn't care for a spice element I suggest you not purchase them because they may not be enjoyable to you, but you will not truly not if the level of spice in them isn't something you can tolerate until you try them.

  Not very spicy. They have a little kick, but the lemon mellows them out some. I kept these at my hospital bedside following spinal surgery to fight queasiness and was grateful to have them nearby.

Best Answer:  I leave them in the bag in a cool area. Otherwise, they get very sticky and I end up throwing them away.

  I would look for a natural honey, it works really well. Just remember that ginger is naturally spicy so you will notice it even more if you have a sore throat.

  It might burn a little initially if the throat is very sore, but after that, it does help with a sore throat and also helps open up the sinuses.
