Does this product contain any benzethonium chloride? I know that is used in several variations of GSE and want to be certain this one does not contain that. Thank you.

Best Answer:  No it does not. The ingredients are grapefruit seed extract, dicalcium phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, croscarmellose sodium, silicon dioxide, purified water, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, & polyethylene glycol.
Does not contain yeast, wheat, gluten,sugar, soy, starch, dairy, fish, animal derivatives, artificial colors or flavors.

How big are the tablets? Can a 7yr old swallow them easily?

Best Answer:  The round flat pills are 3/8" thick. With my thyroid disease, I have found that some pills are now too big to swallow. This one was not hard to get down. I should think a 7yo could swallow them if s/he was used to taking pills.

Best Answer:  I researched this question. For Statins, it said that a person should avoid taking grapefruit or grapefruit seeds while taking statins - that it could be dangerous. I would ask your pharmacist to be sure.
