Great product
This helped me lose 50 pounds over a six months. I took 1 pill in the morning for 2 months than I took 1 in the am and pm. I love this product!

Don't bother
I purchased this product in the hopes that it would help me to get my glucose levels under better control. I continued using metformin, as directed, with the product. The end result: NOTHING CHANGED for the better. In fact, my numbers jumped higher a little! I used this product for twelve (12) weeks continuously on a daily basis. The product did nothing that it was supposed to. I wish it had.

Works for Me
I am very pleased with this product. I take it with my evening meal with another blood surgar supplement and I found a notable difference in the way the food I eat for dinner was digested (in terms of my blood sugar) after I started taking the Gymnema Sylvestre.

Not impressed with effectiveness
I Purchased this product to help control my sweet tooth cravings which usually occurs every afternoon. I have taken as directed and do not feel that it has been very effective. I will not be purchasing again.

Love This Product
I had heard a rumor that there was a product that took away the pleasure of sugar and had to ask when I was in the store. This is the product that he took me to and it works so well for me. I stopped enjoying sugar, it tasted off so stopped wanting it. It is a process but if you are willing to put in the time, it can be a game changer. I only use if when I fall into bad habits again, but it is nice to know that it is there when I need it.

Awesome Product
I absolutely love this product, I've been taking it since 2015. I was diagnosed with type 2 in 2015 and I've been taking this EVER SINCE... along with a few other vitamins and diet/ exercise a I don't have the sweet cravings, I take this product 1st thing in the morning... it's A WONDERFUL PRODUCT!!! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

All other brands of Gymnema Sylvestre state the standardized amount on the supplement facts page. However, I noticed that the Vitamin Shoppe brand does not. This impedes my ability to really consider the VS brand because it could have as little as 25% or as much as 75%. Depending on the amount contained, my dosage would be different. Please let me know how much it contains. I really think this should be on the label like the non VS brands. How much does the VS Gymnema Sylvestre contain?

Best Answer:  In all honesty I'd be lying if I said that I know the biochemical differences between Chromium and Gymnema Sylvertre. From the little I've read GS is an ayurvedic herb that has been used in India for regulating blood sugar levels by acting in the intestines to slow the delivery of glucose to the blood and I believe help the pancreas process and repair itself . But again I emphasize I'm not an expert. I personnaly hedge my bets and take both without any apparent ill effects.

Best Answer:  I was told by a friend that a friend of theirs used this product for type 2 diabetes. We ourselves have not continued using it but maybe we should have been more consistent.
