I don't believe so-sodium is not listed on the label. You can go to Hyland's website for more information. The product does often helps my husband when he has trouble sleeping. It has also helped me when I am very stressed at work.

  The best answer I have is for you to go to VS website and click on the Calms Fort icon. Then click on the Supplement Facts tab. It lists all of the ingredients there.

Calms Forte is in a base of Lactose (sugar) but there is no sodium in the product.

  This product has no chemicals, it's all natural. The only side affects I've noticed are that I dream, in color. If I awake in the middle of the night (I sleep very light), I just take a small chip and I'm back asleep before too long. I've given samples to friends and the conclusion is that either it works for you or it keeps you awake, depending upon the individual. Most people have said it works well. And Tylenol, PM or otherwise, can be dangerous if you have flu or cold. I'll never take it again.

  I'm not sure what adverse reaction you have to Tylenol PM, but this is a homeopathic sleep aid so it's not the same at all. It contains the main ingredient that's in chamomile tea, so if you don't have a reaction to chamomile tea then I'd think this would be fine. I take this and it makes me sleepy but I'm not groggy in the mornings at all.

  I would not think so...This product is made of herbs that relax and some homeopathic minerals. It is very mild and totally natural. I have used it for many years and i do not handle medications like tylenol well either. It is well tolerated by kids even! I highly recommend it.

  It's very mild. I actually use it as a secondary sleep aid, when my regular one isn't cutting it. I would think it would be worth a try. I've seen boxes with smaller quantities at discount stores, but for 100 tablets, this is a good deal.

Absolutely no side effects, even kids can take when having nightmares. Excellent product.

  I really can't speak to the difference since I'm aware of only Calms Forte. I will say that Calms Forte works great. When I am nervous or a bit stressed about something during the day, a single pill works to help me focus on the task at hand. Also, taking 2-3 at bedtime makes it possible to drift off to sleep on those nights when I have difficulty doing so.

  I believe that Calms Forte has more ingredients that are for promoting sleep, while the Calms might be used during the day. Neither of them are going to knock you out. You just notice a more relaxed feeling. I try to take the Calms Forte a half hour to an hour before bedtime.

  If you need sleep help take 6 Hylands Nerve Tonic (not Calms Forte)with 2 mg of Melatonin under your tongue before you go to bed. If you wake up and can't go back to sleep repeat that. It has worked well for me with no side effects for over a year now. Good luck!

  You'd do better to ask advice from a health-care provider. And/or do research on the internet about various forms of magnesium and possible problems with taking to much (there may be none, but again, you should seek advice from knowledgeable sources).

  No, I guess it might be just an incorrect combination (homeopathy and magnesium oxide pills). So try to take one of them and see what is working better. Good Luck!
