About This Product

Bone-Up® provides StimuCal™ ossein MicroCrystalline HydroxyApatite (MCHA) (from free-range New Zealand calves), which includes the superior combination of the inorganic calcium lattice of MCHA within an organic protein milieu. StimuCal™ is rich in native type I collagen-the predominant protein found in bone-and has been clinically demonstrated not to disproportionately spike calcium blood levels as do other forms of calcium, such as the carbonate and citrate salt forms. StimuCal™ is combined with vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 (as MK-7 from natural fermentation [a more bioavailable form of vitamin K]) to support the proper deposition of calcium into the bone matrix, thereby maintaining skeletal integrity, as well as supporting cardiovascular and arterial health. Potassium citrate, a systemic alkalizer, is alsoadded for optimal osteo support.

Directions

Good for my old bones
My husband and I are both in our late 60s and on the thin side. We each need a calcium supplement, and this one is easily taken with food, spaced throughout the day. No complaints so far, after 5 years or so.

Bone up by Jarrows
I have osteoperosis and had a bone scan two years ago after starting Bone Up. My new bone scan showed quite an inprovement in my bone mass after continuing Bone Up instead of the medicine they wanted to give me for my bone loss.

Amazing - Simply amazing!
About 2.5 years ago, my BFF and her husband recommended that I use Bone-up because of the good clinical trial results and formula. Shortly thereafter, I had a bone density test done, which showed an area of clinically significant decreased density in my left hip (osteopenic) - and that really freaked me out because two years prior to that my scan had been normal/good. So, I got serious about taking the 6 Bone-up capsules per day. Just recently, and two years later, I had a repeat bone density scan done, and the area had improved to the point it was no longer considered osteopenic! My doctor was astounded - and claimed he'd never seen a scan improve! And I am psyched! I will take this forever! BTW, I am 58 years old, active and normal weight - and follow a Weston Price diet (which helps too).

Best Answer:  The capsules are about 1" long and 1/4" across. Dosage is usually 2 capsules with each meal. They are easy to swallow and best of all, give me a good bone density report at age 72. I also eat lots of green, fresh veggies and moderate dairy products in addition to salmon, sardines, and other calcium rich foods.

The label says Vitamin K2 (MK7) which is superior to Vitamin K1. I do not see either Vit. K2 or MK7 listed in the "supplement facts"... am I missing something?

Best Answer:  Bone up is part of protocall for osteoporosis,for bone desity,Dr. Hoffman in ny or radio fame uses this.I do not know the formula sorry.
