About This Product

SACCHAROMYCES BOULARDII+ MOS is a probiotic yeast that survives stomach acid and colonizes the intestinal tracts. It promotes the health of the intestinal tract, helps protect its beneficial microbiota and enhances immune function. MOS is an oligosaccharide from the cell walls of S. cerevisiae that can discourage bacteria from adhering to the epithelial cells and reduce the proliferation.

Directions

Take 1 capsule 1 or 2 times per day with water or juice. Or take as directed by your qualified health care consultant. May be taken with food or on an empty stomach. For chidren, please consult your health care professional.

Could not recommend any probiotic more than this!
I started taking this because it was recommended by a doctor to help with diarrhea while I take a very strong antibiotic. No other probiotic helped with my diarrhea. This went to work almost instantly. I will take this every day, even after I am done with the antibiotic. I am thrilled with this, and with the research that I did about this product.

My not-so-secret weapon
This product is a primary line of defense for me against C. diff infection. In a 25+ year war against ulcerative colitis, I have found S. boulardii to be a godsend. I spent more than 15 years as a probiotic skeptic, but no more. This stuff WORKS.

If your guts leak, try this.
After being unable to find a Dr that could tell me what was wrong me, I did some internet ting and self-diagnosed my conditions to be a cumulative effect of leaky got. Basically an intestinal yeast infection. I did the one a day as suggested, but I suggest two a day with a yeast free-ish diet for faster relief. The psoriasis on my hands went away, the painful cracks in the corners of my mouth healed, my bloating subsided, my guts stopped acting up after normally benign foods, and the horrible vaginal issues departed as well. All of these things were attributable to too much yeast in my guts (due from extreme stress- changed jobs, moved, bought a place, raise a kid alone, etc..) I've lost almost 10 lbs due to taking yeast out of my diet in tandem w taking this. I feel better, my stomach is not making me miserable anymore, and all my symptoms are gone. I suggest taking this every single day even if your symptoms go away. On days I have missed I tend to show signs of the old symptoms. I've stomach trouble my entire life and this has helped out tremendously. It does take time though to work if you're suffering from leaky gut so don't expect fast results. Be patient. For people w IBS, this can totally help. I have way fewer incidences of stomach pain, extreme bloating, gas, etc since taking Sacchyromyces B.

A Life Saver
I am awed by how effective this product has worked for me. I have taken it for 3 days as I have a side effect with antibiotices. This soothed my digestive tract and stopped the nasty diaharrea.

Made huge difference
Use the twice a day recommended dosage (checked out withe my Dr) and although it took a couple of months, made a huge difference in my digestive system. I had been having problems for years for years and this did the trick. There seems to be no side effects in my case and I am delighted.

Best Answer:  It's just a strain different than you find in most commercial probiotics preparations. I understand from a US-trained physician that Saccharomyces Boulardii is prescribed in a number of European countries for intestinal problems. It seems to work for me.

Can I open the capsule to put on food or in drinks? I am unable to take large pills.

Best Answer:  I'm not a chemist or nutritionist but from what I know about S B as a probiotic, the feature I like best is that it is not destroyed by stomach acids as are some or many other probiotic brands. My guess is that it would be okay to dissolve in water or sprinkle onto a a non acid food (not orange or lemon juice), so that it arrives in the stomach intact where it can do its best work. Hope that helps.
