    I've been taking Ultimate 10+ Probiotics for several years. I haven't had a yeast infection since I've been taking this. I used to get one any time I had to take an antibiotic.

    Excellent product, no side effects, have used for years
    My husband and I have been using this product for years. It keeps us regular and we rarely experience bloating. There are many other benefits of probiotics in your body you can Google. I like the choice of strains they use, many which are recommended my the medical community. The container is plastic, which I don't like (switch to dark glass please). I combine with Femdophilos Advanced for health of my lady parts (not sure what words will get my review knocked out). I've tried many other probiotics and they are just too strong for my system. No side effects with this one. We started low and worked up to 20B. We may try to go to 30B. Price/value is great. Try make sure you combine these with natural prebiotics (high fiber foods, I take my probiotics with oatmeal in the morning) so the micro organisms have food to eat and grow!! Also add natural probiotics as much as possible, present in fermented foods (like Yogurt, tempeh, sauerkraut, kimchi, etc.)

    Silicon Dioxide is sand, plain and simple
    I have not taken this supplement nor do I intend to take it bc it contains Silicone Dioxide, which is sand. Based on my experience, my GERD flares up immediately if I consume anything with sand in it, even a tiny amount of it.
    Generally speaking human stomach is not able to digest sand. VitaminShoppe would be wise to remove this component from this product. Or provide an alternative to this product, containing no sand, no microcrystalline cellulose (i.e., sawdust), nor anything else not fit for human consumption. Esp., by people who have digestive problems already.

    Says one a day, can you take more than one a day? Current product is 25 bil. this is only 13 bil. Was thinking I could take 2.

    Best Answer:  Sure. You will be ok with taking more than one a day. I actually started out taking one in the morning and one in the evening for the first few weeks to get them established, now one a day. Remember to eat fiber-rich, whole foods to keep’em flourishing. However, if you’re not use to lots of fibrous whole foods, I suggest slowly ramping up the fiber to help the body acclimate. Hope this helps.

    Best Answer:  What dosage to take can be different for everyone, as all of our bodies are different. If you are unsure of a dosage to start with, we recommend consulting with your health care provider, as they can usually provide the best dosage recommendation for your specific needs. Most customers find that starting with the lowest dosage and working their way up to what works best for them is ideal. In this case, the 13 billion is the lowest dosage we offer for this supplement.

    Best Answer:  It's best to ask the child's physician about overall safety, however, as far as the probiotics themselves, they are found in common foods and beverages many people consume. The amount of probiotics in the food and beverage vary. Ask the pediatrician if probiotics, regardless of their source, will be a good idea for the teen in question.
