Highly recommend!
I highly recommend these probiotics! I'm a healthy young adult and am taking these probiotics to boost my immunity. There are a lot of probiotics out there, but a few have been research proven to actually help increase immunity, and this product has them. Because it has fewer kinds of probiotics, it has more of the ones it does have, making it very effective. Since I started taking these probiotics, I have noticed myself getting sick less often and much less severely, even when I've been exposed to people who are sick.

Have trusted the quality of Mercola supplements for over 2 decades.
Fructo-oligosaccharides are chains of plant sugars. They are taken from asparagus, Jerusalem artichokes, and soybeans or produced in the laboratory. People use these sugars to make medicine. From web MD google it. Have tried multiple prands of probiotics over the years and followed Mercola for over 2 decades. Don't agree with everything but when it comes to health supplements how they are made and how to eat for best health i have found him ussualy years ahead of the common crowd and most of the time spot on with flood of research proving what he said years earlier. This formulation of prebiotic has consistently out preformed all other brands i have tried. He also uses more expensive ingredients and processing generally speaking so the supplements are a bit more pricey to do it right. However before he was widely available like selling on vitamin shoppe they were more expensive so this is better for me now than it used to be. Volume i guess. Trust Mercola supplements to be some of tge very best available on the market. Research the ingredients and processes then try but a week us not enough it takes a month or two when you first begin to fully see how this will work for you.

Found Relief!
I bought these probiotics on a chance they would help solve an ongoing situation I was experiencing with digestive issues. I was already taking digestive enzymes but still having issues, so about 3 weeks into my first bottle of once daily Complete Probiotics I was feeling so much better!
I would say overall my regularity and feeling of calm and well being has been a winning situation. I do have to watch my diet because I am sensitive to certain foods but I felt that my gut had really gotten out of balance thus causing constant issues. The first few weeks, I did experience a lot of gas, but I read this could be my system adjusting so I persisted and it really did subside. There are so many products on the market, I am glad I started with these!

Absolutely Zero Effect for Me
I have been using these daily for over a month and have been horribly constipated. I’m not sure if the shipping method or being left out on my doorstep in the heat has ruined the product, but it has been completely ineffective!

fructooligosaccharide, not bad in this product.
Fructooligosaccharide is in this product because of its prebiotic effects. FOS serves as a substrate for microflora in the large intestine, increasing the overall gastrointestinal tract (GI Tract) health. Studies have shown that FOS and inulin promote calcium absorption in the human gut. The intestinal microflora in the lower gut can ferment FOS, which results in a reduced pH. So we can see that this has nothing to do with sweetness, it's needed in the product, DE. Marcola is a brilliant Dr. that we can trust, I wouldn't know the right or wrong supplements put into my body without him.

very dissapointed
I am taking Probiotics to help fight the bad bacteria in my gut, and promote the good bacteria. I was unaware of a certain additive when I purchased this bottle. One of the things that FEEDS the bad bacteria is SUGAR, in the form of Fructooligosaccharide. Which Dr. Mercola has decided to put in this product. Why would a PRO-biotic need an artificial sweetener added in there?? We don't need the pills to taste sweet! So this product FEEDS the bad bacterias, as well as the good one... BIG FAIL!

Best Answer:  I can't imagine that this would help in getting rid of a gut. I don't know what is causing the gut, but a good guess would be that DIM might help that. Good luck to you.

Best Answer:  I didn’t take this for heartburn and do not have heartburn. Y daughter has had great heartburn relief from digestive enzymes. Highly recommend both enzymes and probiotics.

Best Answer:  If you take this supplement and avoid foods that cause heartburn eventually your heartburn will gradually go away as long as there is no other underlying issues. Another great product in combination with this is NutriCology ProGreens every morning on a empty stomach it’s amazing. As far as this product you can’t go wrong with Dr Mercola’s supplements.
