So far so good. Have only been using it for about a week now, so probably need to continue a bit longer to be sure of how much it is working, but love the texture, the taste and so far the improvement that I have received.

Get rid of Omeprazole once and for all
This review was collected as part of a promotion
I am using Manukau to rotate off of years of using Omeprazole. I tried doing it cold turkey and then a friend told me about the honey. After three weeks I am down to two doses per week and should be off completely in the next week or so. I love Manukau.

      I've been a loyal customer
This review was collected as part of a promotion
I've been a loyal customer of Manuka Health for quite some time, and their MGO 400+ Manuka Honey remains a staple in my home. I always buy directly from their site because the quality and authenticity are simply unbeatable-you can truly taste the difference in the rich, creamy texture and deep, earthy flavor.

I love this brand so much that I also use their more potent MGO 573+
strength for targeted care. My only real wish is that I could always find both the 400
and the 573 in stock …

      It’s good

      Matthew PApr 9, 2026
My husband keeps getting a sore come up on his skin for the last 7 months. he has tried antibiotics and they keep coming back. We were told that this is some type of staff.
I have done some research on this Manuka Honey and it looks as though we should try this. Can someone who has purchased this Honey ever used it for MRSCA or Staff? If so did it work for you?
      Thanks, Angela
      Angela GOct 29, 2014

Best Answer:  Only used it for a cold and a recent surgery. I haven't tried it for MRSCA or Staff.

Have you tried using Manuka Honey for treatment of a health condition? How about skin problems? I am interested in the antibacterial properties. Thanks.

Yes, I originaaly purchased Manuka Honey 400 to help my acid reflux. It has helped immensely. I actually like the taste better than regular honey. I like it mixed in yogurt.

It also works well for minor burns. My mother burned her hand on a hot pan, and I told her to apply Manuka honey. Not only did the pain subside, but the next day there was little evidence of a burn at all, and before she applied the Manuka honey, her hand was hurting and bright red.

These are my personal experiences. I happen to absolutally love Manuka honey. I hope my comments are helpful for your purpose!

I have used the honey when I have felt flu/cold symptoms coming on. It seems to help. My information about honey has come from my internet searches. Honey, in general, is good for skin conditions and is toted to have antibacterial properties. Give it a try. Special note: Use a wooden or plastic utensil to scoop it out and do not put it in hot liquids. I have read that stainless steel decreases the potency of the honey.

I purchased Manuka Honey to help with my son's acne. I also confirmed using it for that purpose with a dermatologist and was told to make sure to use a q-tip to apply and not directly use finger because the bacteria from hand could spread into honey. It has helped clear his moderate acne.

I use it for burns, just dab a little on the burn spot and cover with a band-aid. It stops the sting and heals it quicker. I also use it on mouth sores. If you google manuka honey healing, you'll find hundreds more ideas.

I use this product for leg ulcers and it is the only thing that I have ever found to be effective. It does the trick when anything even a specialist used didn't work.
