Directions

Best Answer:  Recommended primarily as a blood purifier, burdock cleanses the body of bile and eliminates toxins that can cause chronic skin conditions. While further scientific research is needed to confirm burdock root's efficacy in treating complexion problems, it has a lengthy reputation as a folk remedy for boils, abscesses and acne.

Best Answer:  According to my book of herbs it does because it's supposed to clean the blood and bowels. It helps with other skin ailments too.

Best Answer:  I have not been diagnosed with either ailment and I don't know enough to make any recommendation. However, I had to discontinue using Burdick because I started having stiffness in my joints and legs and when stopped the problem went away.
