Very satisfied and it worked with continual use
These bloody pustules were bad. I couldn't go to the pool as there were many that like to open and ooze pus and blood. I did nothing else and 2 tablets every evening did the trick.

Physical and mental benefits
This one supplement is key for my well being!

I've been taking niacinamide internally and topically for two years. I take it internally and topically in a solution I make for skin cell regeneration and elasticity. In the past two years that I've used it my face and neck (where I apply the topical "toner") has greatly improved, eliminating fine wrinkles and lightened hyperpigmentation. It's been so effective that I make it for friends and working on creating a line of product.

I also take niacinamide to regulate my clinical depression and anxiety and that's been the most important of all!

The only issue that I'm on the fence about is "flushing". Since being right in the middle of menopause, I'm not sure that the niacinamide is the cause of more severe hot flashes or causing the black cohosh to be less effective than it could be. Just something to take note of.

Weird experience..
Every time I take this, no matter how much water I drink afterwards, I get a bit of a nasty burn in my esophagus followed by a burp that causes the niacinimide powder from the capsule to come up and go through my nose... not pleasant AT ALL.... I've taken a LOT of different supplements for years, and have tried a few different kinds of Niacin/Niacinimide and have never had this happen. I picked this one up because my local VitaminShoppe only carries their brand of Niacinimide and no other brands.. ?!!?

Will be returning this bottle.

Saved my knees
Years ago I read about a Dr. Kaufman who used niacinamide for degenerative arthritis of the knees. I was 28 at the time and having to have my knees asporated and injected with cortisone. I began taking niacinamide, and after a while my knees had minimal swelling and pain, occasionally, and I was able to walk up and down hills without a problem. Today, at 63, I still take 500 mg. every day, and no knee replacement for me as of yet! If I stop taking it, my problem returns.

Terrible Product
I took this product for a week and began having swollen joints. This is supposed to prevent swollen joints, but instead caused more swelling and pain. Terrible product. I would not recommend this product to anyone, even my worst enemy.

Terrible Product
I took this for RA and it did not do what the other brands do. I did not like it. I had a reaction. Would not recommend this to anyone.

difference between niacin and niacinamide?

Best Answer:  Niacinamide is a "non-flushing" form of niacin. Some users of niacin experience a facial "flush" after taking it, sort of like when you "blush".
