olive leaf extract
i take this as prescribed. i have had severe bronchitis for several years and have taken over the counter and prescription meds with no relief. ..i started taking this supplement on Jan. 1, 2015. the wheezing and the cough that i have had for years is gone. i feel 100% better.it has been a tremendous help to me to feel and breath better, but most of all sleep better..this is a wonderful product..

My first experience with Olive leaf Ext. was in the spring of 2003. My youngest son had to follow what his brother was doing so he signed up for the U.S.M.C.Three months before he was scheduled to be sworn in and off to Basic, his feet became suddenly covered with warts. I'm using Olive Leaf Extract to help KILL the FUNGUS/RINGWORM I've had for 2 years. The spots look a lot Lighter (have only used for a month)I'm ordering more I take 2 caps 4xday. Also bought VShoppe GrapeFruit Seed Extract to help fight this FUNGUS.

Added Immune System Defense
When I first read about olive leaf extract (OLE), it was in an article forwarded to me by a friend in the medical field about health supplements that had actual data indicating they lived up to their hype. There were very few that made the list, and OLE (more specifically the active ingredient, oleoropein) was one of them.

Best Answer:  That would be more in regard to olive leaf oil which cold pressing allows it to not be damaged. In capsules it would not be cold pressed because it is the actual leaf.

Thank You Jeannie but I did not ask if it was cold pressed, but cold processed.

the difference is that an extract by definition is not the raw leaf in powdered form, but is extracted through steam, boiling or use of alcohol or other solvents.
Then that liquid extract is dried and put into capsule form.

Heat destroys Oleuropein and vital enzymes which are the key ingredients in this product.

How effective is olive leaf?

Best Answer:  My husband and I have been using Olive Leaf extract for more than fifteen years after reading an article about it. We found that it has anti viral and anti bacterial qualities. I had been getting cases of Bronchitis and my husband always got those cold symptoms like sore throats and sniffles in the winter. We take one capsule a day and if we feel an onset we will increase the dosage to two to three capsules a day till the symptoms disappear. All I can say during that time period we have NOT gotten ill, had major symptoms of colds and never had the flu or taken flu shots. We recommend our friends reading the olive leaf sites to do own research. It has been effective for us.
